The Ryder Cup Bar
Located in the Ocean Course Clubhouse. Casual but elevated pub fare with stunning views of the Ocean Course and the Atlantic Ocean beyond (and where Nolan proposed!). A must-visit even if you're not golfing. The sunset from the terrace is unbeatable. Walk-in only. Resort casual attire.
Tomasso at Turtle Point
Located in the Turtle Point Clubhouse. A cozy Italian spot tucked behind the 18th green, serving homemade pastas, sauces, and wood-fired pizzas. Reservations required for dinner. Indoor and patio seating available. To-go service is based on availability. Resort casual attire.
Cherrywood BBQ & Ale House
Located in the Osprey Point Clubhouse. Genuine Southern BBQ with meats smoked over local hardwoods, paired with over 60 local and craft beers. A stop on the official South Carolina BBQ Trail. Make sure you get the cheesy grits - Jamie's favorite! Reservations recommended for dinner service. Walk-up seating available for lunch service. Indoor and patio seating available. Golf on Kiawah Island
Kiawah Island is home to five world-class public golf courses, each offering a completely different experience, from championship ocean views to peaceful marshland and river scenery. The Ocean Course - Pete Dye's iconic masterpieces and one of the most celebrated courses in the world, playing along 2.5 miles of Atlantic coastline. A bucket-list round. Osprey Point - A Tom Fazio design set among natural lakes, saltwater marshes, and maritime forests. A favorite for all skill levels. Cougar Point - Renovated by Gary Player in 2017, with sweeping marsh and river views and multiple tee boxes welcoming golfers of every level. Oak Point - A scenic Lowcountry gem meandering through ancient oak trees along the Kiawah River with some of the most scenic wildlife views on the island.
Freshfields Village
Freshfields Village is filled with shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. You'll pass it on your way in at the roundabout before entering the resort. Below are some of our favorite sports at Freshfields. Harris Teeter (grocery store) - stock up on snacks, drinks, and anything you may need for the weekend. Kiawah Spirits and Kiawah Wine for beverages.
