We cannot wait to celebrate with you!

Dalton and I both went to Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Dalton was the same major as some of my best friends, Claire Tupper and Haley Resnick. Claire, Haley and I were roommates senior year, so Dalton would come over from time to time to study with them. Dalton was also good friends with our neighbors at our apartment, who we were also close with. Through the many events of senior year, we started to spend more and more time together in group settings, and somehow we always seemed to gravitate towards one another when we would all be together. Graduation came and went, and Dalton and I went our separate ways only to be brought together again as two of our mutual friends got engaged and had an engagement party. Once again, Dalton and I spent a lot of the night making small talk and finding many similarities between one another. After that night, Claire and Dalton started texting about how we would make a great match, and Claire encouraged Dalton to ask me out on a date. Little did Dalton know that Claire and I were together, so I was anxiously awaiting for my phone to light up with a new phone notification. Once it did (finally), the message read, "Hey Jamie I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date sometime? I don't know what we'd do yet but I'm sure it'll be fun as frick!" Hook, line, and sinker, and the rest is history.
