Ceremony

5:30 pm - 6:00 pm

This event will be outside in June so it might be warm. Please plan accordingly in regards to sun protection and etc. Dress code is cocktail attire to formal. No flip flops or shorts please. If you want to wear heels please wear something with a wedge or chunky heel. With respect to the bride, please do not wear white. If you plan to wear a sundress, please do not wear one with a white base.

All guests should go to the reception desk in the main clubhouse to let them know you are here for our wedding. They will be carting everyone to the event lawn. Shuttles will run from an hour before the ceremony, and the last shuttle will be available 10 minutes before the ceremony (5:20 pm is the last shuttle). If you are late, there will not be a shuttle available, and they will guide you to the cocktail area. Kingsmill is gated, and there might be a backup at the entrance gate. Please allow yourself 10 extra mins to get to the clubhouse due to the gate potentially backing up. All family members (Gordon and Fiona included) are sitting in the first three rows on either side. After the ceremony is concluded, all family members, please hang back for photos.

Reception

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The reception will be held at the Burnwell Ballroom (located across from the event lawn). There will be two bars, one outside and one inside. There will be cocktail tables outside, and you are welcome to go to the ballroom. There will also be a photo booth inside the ballroom hallway. We will have appetizers, a trivia slideshow, and a guest book for everyone to sign. The guestbook will be puzzle pieces, so please only do one piece per person.
