It’s easiest to stay at the Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort, as you can walk to all wedding events. Call the resort (1-800-475-2631) and mention the Welle-Schauder wedding to access the room block (let us know if you have any issues).
Rates: one-bedroom $159/night + $135 cleaning fee; two-bedroom $189/night + $165 cleaning fee. A one-time $35 gate fee applies per vehicle.
The most convenient airport is Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH), just 10–15 minutes from most hotels. It’s small, easy to navigate, and served by American, Delta, and United. Uber/Lyft run during daytime and early evenings, and rental cars and taxis are on-site. Another option is Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), 45–60 minutes away, with rental cars, rideshares, and pre-booked shuttle services.
