My bestfriend of 37 years. She's a complete carbon copy of me. We met when I was 13 and she was 12 and we've been inseparable ever since (spiritually that is). We studied the same things in college without even knowing it, we have daughters the same age and our birthdays are only 3 days a apart. She's adventurous, beautiful but ALWAYS a lady. My matron of honor and so much more.

My brother and my best friend. While we only get together a few times a year, it is always a good time when we do. From a Reds baseball game to a Marshall football game, sports dominate and we enjoy getting together and cheering on our teams! Our families have grown and we live in very different areas, but our bond remains strong and he will always be my little brother. Eddie is reliable and someone who will always give me straight and sound advice. He always has my best interest in mind and I love him for that.

My bestfriend of 36 years. A classmate from Samuel Gompers HS who has been a dear and trusted friend for many years. We've grown up together, apart, and had a blast doing so. She's a brilliant educator, a wonderful mother, a great listener, sound advice giver, beloved daughter and no-nonsense Nuyorican to the core. I love and admire her strength. She's beautiful inside and out and that's why she's my Maid of Honor.

Brian is a great friend that I have known for many years. We met in the early 90's, both running our butts off to make a little money at Stewart's Hot Dogs in Huntington, WV and have had many crazy adventures through the years. I am proud to have him stand with me on this day.

My oldest daughter and my happy place. She is a brilliant preschool teacher who goes above and beyond. She has a big heart and a contagious smile. I could not imagine having anyone else with me on this special day (except my other daughter). If there was such a thing as 1st Bridesmaid, she be it!

I've known this young man since he was in diapers! I've watched him grow into a man (I would like to think I had a hand in forming) and I am VERY proud of him and his accomplishments. He's always tried to do the right thing. I've watched him struggle but through it all, he perseveres as only a strong man can and that's why he's one of my groomsmen

My youngest daughter is my conscience and my constant reminder of what I was like at her age. She keeps me thinking. She's very creative and a cake decorating marvel. My favorite millennial who is insightful and level-headed. She keeps her cool and is never rattled. I love her calmness and stern demeanor which makes for a great Bridesmaid.

What can I say about this guy... He's intelligent, good-looking and smoother than a fresh jar of Skippy. He's the nephew that just keeps reaching for the stars and getting them. I watched him grow up briefly, in WV before his exodus to AZ. The last endeavor I witnessed was the commitment he made to his lovely wife, Cassondra. What a proud moment. Love everything about him! Who else would I have stand with me on this day as one of my groomsmen?

Twice widowed and living life to its fullest is my mother who is a extraordinary part of who I am. She speaks her mind, is wise and opinionated. My mother is the best example of silent strength, God-loving, patient, praying and humility all rolled up in one. I thank God for her.

My Mom is a solid rock for my family and she quietly leads in a strong way. She is a fervent follower of Christ and she loves the Lord with all of her heart. My foundation in what I believe starts with the example she was as I grew into a man. Plant a seed and lead your children in the ways of the Lord and they will return to their teachings. Thank you for planting those seeds and making sure they were watered through the years!
