This was the night James and I met! Taco night at Gabe's house. I'm in the light blue and James was wearing the grey sweater. Now just over 5 years later is our wedding day!

After 3 dates, my family invited James to go tubing with us. He showed up wearing this costume to meet my grandparents. My grandma has trouble remembering most things but never forgets my penguin.

We started dating the summer before senior year. We went to different schools but I went to all of his football games, and he came to all of my cello concerts.

We also got to go to both of our proms!

After we graduated high school, James went to boot camp and three months later returned home as my marine. We got to spend thanksgiving and christmas together but soon he would be leaving for Japan

When James came back from boot camp, he went with my mom and I to trinity tree farm, and cut down our christmas tree! Trinity tree farm is our wedding venue!

Time went by too fast. I was dropping James off at the airport, so he could fly to Japan. We were supposed to see each other in 3 more months. We had no idea it would be 9 months apart instead.

After 9 months apart, I visited James in Japan for Christmas for 10 days. I speak Japanese so I was excited. We had an amazing time! This was us at a Japanese cooking class. We love new adventures!

We visited a Japanese version of the Eiffel tower. We were already planning our trip to France for 6 months later. But James got deployed twice so the trip never happened and we were apart 12 months.

12 months later he came for Christmas. I threw him a surprise America themed bday party. His friends were late bringing him. They were late because James went to a jewelry store to buy my ring!

2 Days after the Bday party, we went up to the mountains where James taught me how to snowboard. We fed carrots to these horses we found, and that night he got down on one knee.

We had our engagement photos taken at Golden Gardens beach. During senior year, James drove to my house multiple times a week and we'd workout at this beach so he could get in shape for boot camp.
