When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Since the new date will be 07/17/2021 if you could RSVP June 17, 2021 that would be great. Just contact either Jim or Elaine directly. . We know it is a long way off but we hope this new date works well for everyone.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Though the ceremony starts at 4:30 the location has beautiful views of the Golden Gate and a lovely garden to enjoy. The Chapel will open at 4:00.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The two main hotels at the Presidio are close to both the Chapel and the Officers Club. Within walking distance, however if not wearing walking shoes, Recommend family and friends carpool to both locations locations if not taking a ride share from off of the Presidio. Depending on the number of guests we will look into hiring a shuttle or van for those staying on the Presidio.

Is there a cancellation fee for the Inn or Lodge?

Answer

Since they just recently re-opened so I am sure they are anxious for guests! If you do need to cancel the sooner the better so that they can re-book. Normal cancellation timeframe is within 30 days of arrival date. Not sure what the new normal is these days!

Why did we pick the date of 07/17/2021?

Answer

Our original date of June 13th was a special because it is the date that Jim's parents were married. Besides some practical considerations, 7-17-21 is a fun date. Elaine was born on the 7th (of January), Jim was born on the 17th (of August), and of course 21 is a lucky number! Black Jack!!
