Things To Do

London is such a beautiful city with so much to do. Here are just some of our recommendations.

Royal Parks

England NW1, United Kingdom

There are so many green spaces in London. Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, Regents Park, St. James Park, and Holland Park are some of our favorites. These all have great playgrounds for kids as well, especially Kensington Gardens which has the Princess Diana Memorial Playground.

Richmond

Richmond, England, United Kingdom

Richmond has a huge park (3x the size of Central Park), and a very cute village with lots of shops, restaurants, and a waterfront. Especially if you are a fan of Ted Lasso, we recommend spending a day here and visiting The Princes Head (the Ted Lasso pub).

Little Venice

England, United Kingdom

Little Venice and Paddington Basin sit behind Paddington Station. There's lots of restaurants on the canal, including some restaurants that are on canal boats. We love Bondi Green, Darcie & May Green, Brew Dog, The Waterway, and The Summerhouse.

Uber Boat by Thames Clippers - Westminster Pier

Victoria Embankment, SW1A 2JH, United Kingdom

Hopping on an Uber boat is a great way to sightsee along the river. You don't need to prebook, you can simply show up at the pier. We recommend taking the boat to Tower Bridge and then walking over the bridge to the Tower of London.

Boisdale of Belgravia

15 Eccleston Street, England SW1W 9LX, United Kingdom

Boisdale is a great Scottish restaurant that has live jazz and a pre-fix menu on Sundays. Book in advance; we recommend going for Sunday roast.

Covent Garden

Covent Garden, England, United Kingdom

Covent Garden is an area with lots of restaurants, shops, and a market to browse. Stop into the Nomad Hotel or the roof of the Royal Opera House for a drink in a gorgeous setting.
