Our wedding ceremony & reception will be held at Alderton Hall, home to James' parents, Barbara and Geoff, and their children, since 1980. For the history buffs among you, the house was originally built in the late medieval period, around the time that Christopher Columbus landed in the Americas! The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:15. Please be seated no later than 3:05. For those travelling from abroad, Loughton is easily accessible on the London Underground Central Line. We suggest staying in London as we will provide shuttles from Loughton Station to the top of Alderton Hill (0.7miles), as well as a coach back to the Hyde Park area shortly after midnight. For friends and family more local to Loughton, parking will not be available on the driveway on the day and so we encourage using Uber or parking on Alderton Hall Lane.

Join us the day after the wedding for a fun afternoon in Kensington Gardens, close to our home in London and next to Lancaster Gate London Underground Station. This is intended to be a fun day in the park for our friends and family for food, drinks and games to keep the party going one more day! While numbers are limited on the Big Day at Alderton Hall to those named on the invite, we would love to extend the Invitation for Saturday to all children. It will be one of the longest days of the year, where the sun will set after 9.00pm, so we will go as long as the weather behaves itself!
