Best Man
Nathanael is my fourteen year old brother. Even though he is several years younger than me we have always had a close relationship. I love watching him excel at all of the sports he's involved in, such as baseball, mountain biking, soccer, and ninja. He is full of energy and life. We enjoy doing different activities together (usually it's playing catch with a baseball), but it's also great just having conversations with him and getting the opportunity to teach him about things I've learned. I'm proud to have him stand by my side on my wedding day!
Matron of Honor
Hannah has been one of my best friends for eight years! We first met playing high school soccer and have shared many stages of life together ever since. From school and sports to career milestones, we’ve been side by side through it all. Now we get to be in the same season of life once more as wives and co-workers! God has truly blessed me with Hannah! She has directed me back to Christ so many times and has always been an honest and loving friend. I'm so blessed to have her as one of my matrons of honor!
Matron of Honor
Emma, my sister, is eight years older than me. She and I have always had a special, adventurous relationship. We've always enjoyed hiking together, and have also climbed a few 14ers in Colorado. Emma has great insight on the root of a situation and helps me unfold problems and give experienced advice. She has always looked out for me. I'm so grateful for such a loyal sister and friend, and now, I'm so grateful to have her as one of my matrons of honor!
Groomsman
My friendship with Jesse has been one of the longest friendships I've had, going back to when we were both seven and in co-op together. We have grown through many trials and adventures, and have bonded over the love of How to Train Your Dragon, Percy Jackson, and fishing. He's shown me what patience means and has pushed me to be better man.
Bridesmaid
Maddie is my oldest sister- exactly ten years older than me. Being the responsible oldest child, she acted like my second mom and I have learned a lot from her. As we got older we've had a fun relationship with more similarities like sense of humor and style. I love watching Maddie be a mom, raising her kids in truth, and I continue to learn from her endurance and strive for a home rooted in Christ.
Bridesmaid
Sophie, my third sister, is six years older than me and is the sister closest in age to me. Sophia, true to her name, has always been very wise. God has blessed her with so much knowledge, which she happily shares with her family members. She always treats me with compassion and kindness, and always has good advice. I love talking all things birth with her and learning from all her midwifery experience. What a gift she is to me!
Groomsman
Ian has been one of my closest friends since in being in co-op together in middle school. He actually started off hating me cause we liked the same girl, but we eventually became good friends. With him never living in the same town as me, we called as much as we could. At first we talked about video games and how to beat the ender dragon in Minecraft, but as the years went on and life shifted, our conversations matured and our friendship centered much more on encouraging one another towards growth in Christ.
Bridesmaid
Mariah and I have been friends for about six years, but we've become very close for the past three. She seeks the Lord in every area of her life, and I look up to her so much for that. From day one. she has supported James and me, and has encouraged both of us in our faith. Her godly influence makes me want to please the Lord more, and I am so grateful that God has used her in that way. She has the biggest heart and I treasure her so much. She is such a faithful friend!
Bridesmaid
Livvy is another one of my best friends! We have been close for around seven years. She is the best listener and is so willing to take time to help me solve a problem. She has often pointed me to Gods' Word during the time James and I have dated, and I'm so thankful for her knowledge of the Bible, which she passes on to me! Liv also just got married, so I'm excited that I get to be a wife with her in this season, too! I see my dear Liv two times a year, as she lives out of country, but that does not hinder the ongoing growth we have in our relationship.
Groomsman
Nathan and I became friends through mutual friends. Our friendship grew over our shared like for welding, and then grew even more on a two-week missions trip to Romania. During our time as roommates in Romania, we had many deep conversations that inspired us both to pursue God more.
Bridesmaid
I'm so excited that Caroline is going to be my new sister-in-law! More than even the family relation, she is such a sweet friend. We enjoy talking all things soccer, debriefing about what we learned in Mrs. Stringer's Bible studies, and just goofing off together! I love growing in the Lord with her and taking on an older sister role, since I never got to have as the youngest child!
Bridesmaid
Noe and I became friends during my sophomore year of high school and quickly bonded when we both joined the track team. We have so many things in common, and she is the easiest person to be friends with. I so appreciate how thoughtful she is of others. It was great fun being neighbors and seeing each other every single day, until she ditched me for college. :) I love my Gnomy!
Groomsman
I met Daniel when I started dating Milly. He is her brother-in-law, married to her sister, Emma. During our many conversations while washing dishes after family meals, we discovered that we are very like-minded in a lot of things, like theology and what we'd like our futures to look like (think off-the-grid, self-sustaining farm). Daniel was very welcoming to me and I have always appreciated his kindness.
Bridesmaid
The Mulkeys and the Gindorfs have been friends since before Anika and I were even born, so we basically grew up like sisters. I have seen God's provision and strength more in Anika than in anybody I know, and it's been so beautiful to watch His handiwork in my beautiful friend. She is never boring to be with, and even though we live far apart, she has stayed a dear friend to me all these years!
Groomsman
Ben and I have been friends for many years and we've connected over a lot of shared interests, like welding and fishing. Our fishing adventures have led to quite a few funny and fun memories! It's been great to spend time together over the years, encouraging one another in our faith. I'm grateful for his friendship.
