What does the parking situation look like?

**PLEASE NOTE THE ADDRESS CORRECTION: The Camp Verde Sports Complex is at 995 E. Champion Trl. (not 955!). PARKING/SHUTTLE: Due to the wedding venue being located on private property in a residential neighborhood, parking will not be available at the wedding site. Guest parking will be available at the Camp Verde Sports Complex (995 Champion Trail), approximately five minutes from the venue. To help the shuttle run smoothly, we kindly ask drivers to drop off their passengers at the venue (345 W. Shill Rd.) and then proceed through the open gate to the Sports Complex parking lot. This will reduce the number of guests needing shuttle transportation. After the celebration, drivers will follow the same process in reverse. Passengers should be dropped off at the venue no later than 3:15 PM to allow drivers adequate time to go park and catch the last shuttle (departing parking lot at 3:25 sharp). Please note that our shuttle drivers are also wedding guests. All vehicles must exit the parking lot by 9:30 PM. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation. What weather should we prepare for?

Answer

This is an outdoor wedding. Northern Arizona weather is unpredictable in early spring, so please check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Since the entire evening’s events will take place on grass, block heels or flats are recommended. Milly and James would love it if their guests wore florals!

How do I get to the wedding venue and the parking lot without using gps?

TO THE WEDDING VENUE: From the Phoenix area : Drive north on I-17 for about 90 miles. Exit 285 for General Crook Trl. Turn RIGHT onto S. Access Rd/General Crook Trl. Drive 1.6 miles. Turn RIGHT onto AZ-260 E/S Access Rd/General Crook Trl. Drive 1.9 miles. Turn RIGHT onto S. Quarterhorse Ln. and drive 1.2 miles. Turn RIGHT onto W. Shill Rd. Drive .4 miles (this is a neighborhood-please drive slowly, being extra cautious at the blind corner). The Brown's home (venue) is on the left side - 345 W. Shill Rd. PLEASE DRIVE PAST THE HOUSE AND TURN AROUND IN THE CUL DE SAC BEFORE DROPPING GUESTS OFF. From Flagstaff: Drive south on I-17 for 52 miles. Take exit 287 for AZ-260 E. toward Payson. Turn RIGHT onto AZ-260 E./Finnie Flat Rd. Drive 3.5 miles (straight through traffic circle). Turn RIGHT onto S. Quarterhorse Ln. See above for the rest of the instructions. TO THE PARKING LOT TO CATCH SHUTTLE: From the wedding venue: Reverse your route back to the beginning of Quarterhorse Dr. Turn RIGHT onto AZ-260 E. and drive .7 miles. (If driving straight from highway, continue on AZ-260 E., past Quarterhorse Dr.) Turn LEFT onto Champion Trl. (look for white balloons). Drive straight through gate into the parking lot. Wait for shuttle near the entrance to the sports complex. This will be done in reverse at the end of the night. Shuttle will be waiting in the driveway to return drivers to their cars. Drivers will then return to the venue to pick up the rest of their party.
