Best Man
As much as we are different, we are almost the same person. Darnell has been by my side since the day he was born. I went from being extremely protective of him, to hating him, to couldn't live without him. The only person I can dance in the airport singing 2 Legit 2 Quit with or entertain myself in church with. Remember Big Bird!?
Best Man
Although we have lived far away from each other for a long time, I am happy that my brother and I still have a close relationship. Some of my fondest memories are either watching or attending sporting events with him. I'm really happy that he'll be closer now to us and I hope with his new move we'll be able to spend even more time together. Furthermore, I will never forget how supportive he was when I came out for the first time. It meant so much to me when I still unsure about whether or not it was the right thing to do. Love you little bro! I could not have picked anyone else in the world to be my best man!

Jatinder is one of the best friends I've ever had. He's the perfect mix of annoying as hell and loyal to a fault. We've been through everything together and he has kept me strong through my toughest times. He has become another brother to me and I don't know what I'd do without him. Though I will beat you with another chair if you copy my Facebook profile again.

Marcela has been a close friend of mine for almost 20 years now! Anytime I come home to Delaware, one of the highlights of my trip is catching up with her. One thing is for sure, whenever we get together there will always be plenty of laughs and good times. When we take our yearly selfie and post it on social media, I always refer to her as my 'hermana del alma' or soul sister because that's what she means to me.
Groomsman
Darian has been my right hand since we were kids. He's the strongest person I've ever known, and very stubborn. He's always been the one person I can always count on, and who will never let me forget when I make a fool of myself. I'm still trying to live down the rugby party.

Where to start when I think about Bridgette? I'm just so thankful that I met her through Jamar because I consider her to be a dear friend. She's that type of person who can lighten up a cloudy day. I always find myself laughing out loud, whether it's during an impromptu Spanish lesson or a random conversation about a funny song. Love you mamajuana!
Groomsman
Chris is one of my 2 oldest friends. He and I have been trough more together than I can even express. We've been inseparable our entire lives. Chris has quickly become one of the people I've admired the most in life. He would give his life for those he cares, and only judge you a little bet on the way. He's made me step out the box and become more comfortable with myself. I wouldn't be who I am today without him. Love you Chramar!

Jaqui and I worked together at Raleigh Immigration Law Firm and became close friends when we both ended up stuck in the back room LOL. I am so proud of the work she is doing now as an immigration attorney. It's ironic that we both love many of the same songs from different genres to include country, Latin and even Mexican Banda. I'm so happy that she will be part of our special day and I look forward to many more double dates with her and her boyfriend Juan!

Brent is the technically the oldest friend I have, I met him like a day before I met Chris. He is the most stubborn and loving person I've ever known. Brent has been the one of the constant positive forces in my life. I've only benefited from having him and I wouldn't trade a second of it. Though we're not drinking 151 again!

It only took 25+ years but I was able to finally meet my sister Yulibet a few years ago. That being said, it feels like we were never apart. I am so thankful that she's here in the US now and that I can see her more often. It was so much fun visiting her in Miami, recently. Te quiero mucho manita!

If I was a girl, I would be Kezia. She is 100% my twin, minus the love for rodents. She has the kindest person you'll ever meet. Just don't cook her bad food (especially tofu), you'll never hear the end of it. There aren't many people who so willing to fight for those less fortunate than them. Kezia has always been a positive light in our family. The best part of all of us.

When I think about Jenn, I see her as a great friend but I also see her as family. She was pretty much the closest thing I had to family in the area for a long time and I am so glad we became good friends and still remain that way. She has always been someone who I could confide in and reach out to for advice. As transplants, we learned about the Triangle area together and it's been a really fun experience! Whether it's been an overdue coffee date or a family outing at Salsa Fresh, having Jenn in my life is something I'm very thankful for!
Wedding Coordinator
Ashley went from a coworker to friend to sister in the first year we met. Though we won't mention her intentions when we met. She has been my biggest advocate when I needed her most and critic when I need that. She also highly protective of me, which I'm sure was fun for Joey in the beginning. But Ashley has become an integral part of our lives throughout our relationship. As soon as we started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted her to coordinate it. We both trust her to the end.
Officiant
John is the most genuine person in the world. There were many times John was the only person I could talk to about struggles in my life, He was always the one to pull me back. He plays hard and he loves hard. His kind heart is a rarity and I love him for it. When Joey and I were discussing officiants, John was the first one we both thought of. There's no one we'd rather have stand with us. Though there is a risk of big head jokes coming my way.
