There are lots of great Airbnb or VRBO options around the area. Jake and I love staying in homes when we travel to get a better feel for the area. We would recommend booking soon to beat the Labor Day Weekend crowds. The two places we'd recommend looking are listed below. GRAND HAVEN/SPRING LAKE - A cute and laidback beach town located on the lakeshore. Might as well make the most of your trip and enjoy some time at the beach. Approximately 30 minutes from our reception venue. There are lots of fun restaurants and shops to explore.

GRAND RAPIDS - Beer City USA! Grand Rapids is a great mid-sized city with a lot of fun activities, shops and eateries. Take a stroll along the Grand River, check out some of the shops in downtown and East Grand Rapids, and grab a beer from one of the local Breweries. For all of our Texans attending, Grand Rapids is kind of like a mini Austin! Grand Rapids is about 20 minutes from our reception venue.
