FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony by 1:45pm. For the reception, we ask that you do not arrive until 5pm for cocktail hour in order to allow the couple time to take private photos.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Yes, please do! We see marriage as a blending of two families and welcome children's involvement. For the wedding mass, there is a room at the back of the church with windows, providing a separate space to view the mass, should you and your children need it.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

For planning purposes, we ask that guests be limited to those indicated on the invitation. Please reach out to Meghan or Jake with any questions.

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! You can book with our hotel block at the Doubletree Hotel by the Airport. More information and the booking link can be found in the "Travel" section of this website.

Question

Will you be providing transportation on the wedding day?

Answer

There will be a free shuttle between the reception at Mankin Mansion and the Doubetree hotel by the airport the evening of the wedding. More information can be found in the "Travel" section of this website. We unfortunately are not able to provide travel to and from St. Bridget Catholic Church for the Wedding Mass.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception have ample parking. Please note that the road directly in front of St. Bridget Catholic Church is a one-way road, but there is also parking on the blacktop on the side of the church.

Question

How should I address the happy couple on my card?

Answer

Mr. Jake and Mrs. Meghan Mullican, Mr. and Mrs. Mullican, or Mr. and Mrs. Jake Mullican work for us! Meghan will be taking Jake's last name!

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Semi-formal, church appropriate attire.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

For the Wedding Mass, we ask that you refrain from taking photos in order to allow you to fully participate in the sacrament with us. A professional photographer will take photos of the Mass, and we will be sure to share them with you at a later date! At the reception, feel free to take personal photos, but we ask that you do not post photos to social media until Meghan and Jake have posted theirs.
