FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony by 1:45pm. For the reception, we ask that you do not arrive until 5pm for cocktail hour in order to allow the couple time to take private photos.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Yes, please do! We see marriage as a blending of two families and welcome children's involvement at all events. For the wedding mass, there is a room at the back of the church with windows, providing a separate space to view the mass should you and your children need it.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

For planning purposes, we ask that guests be limited to those indicated on the invitation. Please reach out to Meghan or Jake with any questions.

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! You can book with our hotel block at the Doubletree Hotel by the Airport. More information and the booking link can be found in the "Travel" section of this website.

Question

Will you be providing transportation on the wedding day?

Answer

There will be a free shuttle between the reception at Mankin Mansion and the Doubetree hotel by the airport the evening of the wedding. More information can be found in the "Travel" section of this website. We unfortunately are not able to provide travel to and from St. Bridget Catholic Church for the wedding mass or the Welcome Party the night before. If you choose to take advantage of the free shuttle, we recommend using the time between the wedding mass and cocktail hour to return to the hotel for shuttle pickup. Travel from the hotel to Mankin Mansion (cocktail hour/reception site): Shuttle service will begin at 4:45pm and will continue until all guests waiting have been taken to Mankin Mansion. Multiple shuttles will be running to ensure all guests arrive at cocktail hour. If you miss the shuttle or the shuttle is late, please speak with the front desk of the Double Tree hotel. Travel from Mankin Mansion to the hotel (post reception): One shuttle will begin taking guests back to the hotel at 10pm. After the grand exit of the wedding couple at 11pm (the official end of the evening), all shuttles will be running to bring guests back to the Double Tree hotel. Shuttles will continue making rounds until all guests waiting for the shuttle have been taken back to the Double Tree Hotel.

Question

Is parking available at all events?

Answer

All event locations provide ample parking. Please note that the road directly in front of St. Bridget Catholic Church is a one-way road, but there is also parking on the blacktop on the side of the church.

Question

How should I address the happy couple on my card?

Answer

Mr. Jake and Mrs. Meghan Mullican, Mr. and Mrs. Mullican, or Mr. and Mrs. Jake Mullican work for us! Meghan will be taking Jake's last name!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal, church appropriate attire is requested at all events.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

For the wedding mass, we ask that you refrain from taking photos in order to allow you to fully participate in the sacrament with us. A professional photographer will take photos of the Mass, and we will be sure to share them with you at a later date! At the reception, feel free to take personal photos, but we ask that you do not post photos to social media until Meghan and Jake have posted theirs.

Question

I am unfortunately unable to attend. Will you be livestreaming the Wedding Mass?

Answer

Yes! You can watch the wedding mass live at https://youtube.com/live/EKCrAYlDjPo?feature=share

For all the days along the way
