Together is a beautiful place to be!

Jake and Leah's love story began unassumingly after running into each other consecutive nights at separate college bars in downtown St. Paul. After being introduced by mutual friends, Jake and Leah shared numerous conversations over missed opportunities, realizing they spent their college years merely miles apart. They were surprised at the ease and comfort of their conversations. They spoke about the little things - their shared family dynamics, interest in Biology, passion for sports, the outdoors, and music. Remarkably, they seemingly had everything in common- including their crazy obsession with tomatoes. They instantly bonded over their unique sense of humor and ability to make one another smile instantaneously. Jake fell for Leah's effortless wit and humble intelligence, while Leah loved Jake's laugh and grounded demeanor that immediately gave her the ability to be herself around him. Even though Leah has recently come to find that their suspicious overlapping interests, such as loving tomatoes, turned out to be deceitful, she has forgiven Jake, as it was solely an attempt to convince his soulmate that he was her one. The night ended with Jake remarking that he was headed to a concert with a friend the following Tuesday. Come to find out, she was quickly replacing his spot. Jake and Leah left that night feeling as if they had known each other for eternity. Their eventful night at Palace Theatre was filled with joy and excitement, cementing their indescribable connection. Although considerable change has passed since Jake and Leah’s meeting, their love, respect, and compassion for one another continue to flourish. Jake and Leah’s relationship was quickly personified by welcoming their mini-golden doodle, Kona, into the picture. After which, they finished their last year of school together before moving to Rochester, Minnesota, to experience true companionship in their first home. During this time, their unrelenting commitment to one another displayed no boundaries. Later that spring, Jake and Leah took a trip to Washington state that would change their lives forever. On a peaceful morning overlooking Olympic National Park, rife with bedhead and morning breath, Jake and Leah's bond solidified with the engagement of marriage. Returning to Minnesota, Jake and Leah moved back to the Twin Cities to begin the next chapter of their lives. Currently, Leah is an Intake and Emergency Assistance Coordinator for a human services company called Enriched Living. Jake is working towards a Ph.D. in Environmental Health at the University of Minnesota. It is with great pleasure, gratitude, and honor, we invite you to spend this ceremonial day celebrating our love and reflecting on our most cherished memories.
