Kristen is the bride who will be marrying Jake. She is the youngest of 4 children and is the only daughter. Ever since she could remember, Kristen found herself to be a soft spoken introvert. When it came to schooling, she would typically prefer to work on assignments independently. She was also really good at finding things to do on her own in her spare time. Her favorite alone time hobbies included crocheting, reading, crafting, drawing, building Legos, and playing videogames. However, that doesn't mean she likes being alone all of the time. She still enjoys spending time with her family and friends. In fact, a lot of her favorite memories involve her loved ones. Whether it be holidays, celebrations, vacations, or important life events, Kristen is always wanting to be there for the ones she cares about and share the moment with them. Except this time, Kristen realizes it will be the other way around as her people will be coming to support her during this big life event. Kristen would like to say that this wedding is going to be her dream come true, however, she never actually thought this would happen for her. What Kristen can say is that meeting Jake has felt like a dream. Being able to find someone who has similar interests, someone she enjoys talking to, and someone who she can be herself with is all that she could have ever wanted. Kristen is truly looking forward to sharing this special day with everyone, and can't wait for her and Jake to start a family of their own.
Jake Shoemaker

Jake is the groom that will be marrying Kristen. Jake is the oldest of 7 children, with there being 3 on his mom's side and 3 on his father's side. He currently works for RF Power Ventilation where he does commercial HVAC work. This is relatively new for him as he has done residential HVAC work for 9 years. When he isn't working, he will still watch videos about HVAC so that he can continue to improve his trade. He also enjoys watching gaming, comedy, and ghost videos. Jake also likes a good movie, his go to genre being action. Some of his favorite series are John Wick, Marvel, and Lord of the Rings. Jake actually has a tradition that his family passed on to him where they watch LOTR every Christmas season, and Jake makes sure they are the extended editions. Jake even has Kristen joining in on the same family tradition as well. Jake is happy to have Kristen in his life and is very excited to now have his own family to continue old and start new traditions with. Kristen is a burst of warm light in Jake's life, and he finds it quite lovely to have someone like her to come home to every day. Now he knows that he will truly have her to come home to every day once she becomes his wife, and he couldn't be more excited. Jake is also thrilled to be sharing this moment with all of his family and friends, and hopes that everyone will have a great time on his wedding day.
Frank Renna
Father of the Bride
Frank is Kristen's dad, and he is the reason why Kristen is such a big family person. Growing up, Kristen has witnessed Frank attend many family events, always making an effort to be there for those he cares about. Also, for as long as Kristen can remember, Frank has worked two jobs to support his family. Kristen has actually helped Frank with his contracting jobs from her elementary years to her adult years. They have spent lots of time working together at many houses and apartments, not to mention all the trips to Home Depot (his second home). However, Frank made sure that work didn't stop him from being there for all the fun moments too. Frank has chaperoned for most of Kristen's school trips, attended Kristen's softball games, and watched Kristen perform in shows. Kristen can still picture Frank stealing the base during T-Ball and having her run after him, lifting Kristen by her ankles swinging her back and forth like she's clock, or driving her around on his lap while he mowed the lawn. Kristen knows that Frank is one of the main reasons why she's had such an amazing life growing up, and Kristen will always be grateful for all that he's done for her. Kristen is even more thankful for all the memories and laughs he's given her. Up to this very day, Frank will still use his free time on his loved ones. Frank is such a loving, hardworking, funny, and supportive man/dad who Kristen loves very much, and she can't wait to have him walk her down the aisle on her wedding day.
Candie Renna
Mother of the Bride
Candie is Kristen's beautiful mom, and much like Frank, Candie is one of the main reasons why Kristen has had such a wonderful life growing up. Candie has been supportive, patient, loving, and caring throughout Kristen's life. When it came to Kristen's school years, Candie made sure that she was up on time, her homework was done, and that her lunch was packed. Speaking of food, Candie was the one who would cook dinner for everyone. Some days, she would make Kristen something different than everyone else since Kristen is such a picky eater. Candie was also the person who took Kristen everywhere, whether it be a softball game, Girl Scouts, or a friend's house, Candie made sure that she got there when needed. When it came to quality time, Candie and Kristen would spend it playing videogames on Sega, Playstation, DS, or the Wii and watching TV shows together. Kristen's favorite show has to be Big Brother, as that is one they still watch. Candie even got Kristen into hobbies, Kristen wouldn't know how to crochet if it wasn't for her. Candie is also one who truly listens, as she's sat there and listened to Kristen tell her about all sorts of things. Candie would even pay attention to Kristen's interests and show up with little surprises here and there. One of Kristen's favorites being an Olaf Christmas stocking. Kristen is very thankful for all that Candie has done/does for her, and is so excited to spend the big day together; she loves Candie always and always, forever and ever.
Rich Shoemaker
Father of the Groom
Rich is Jake's dad. Jake first met Rich at a climbing gym when he was just 8 years old. Then a couple years later, Rich became Jake's step dad. From a young age, Jake can remember playing all kinds of games with Rich. However, some of Jake's favorites had to be fighting with Nerf swords and playing Street Fighter. With Rich being a big outdoors guy, Jake has many memories of doing outside activities as well. They would go rock climbing, running, and biking together. Jake would enjoy biking the most. They used to bike on the Wissahickon trails, and sometimes they would stop at a place called Brunos for breakfast. As time went on, Rich became more than just a step father to Jake, he became just Dad. Not only that, but Jake grew to love all the qualities that Rich came with. One of those qualities that Jake finds to be really fun is his competitiveness. It doesn't matter what game they are playing, Uno, cornhole, or Super Smash Brothers, Rich is always sure to give it his all and will try to defeat anyone who stands in his way of victory. Jake also likes that Rich will find days to have one on one bonding time. They will have breakfast together and read a chapter of a book that was recommended by Rich. Rich is also one to give Jake lots of wisdom and life advice as he tries to help guide Jake down a road to success. Jake truly couldn't be more thankful for all the love and support Rich has given him, and he hopes that Rich knows he loves him just as much.
Ana Shoemaker
Mother of the Groom
Ana is Jake's gorgeous mom, the one person in Jake's life who has been there for it all. From the start, it had been just Ana and Jake. He can still recall how Ana and him would have a movie marathon of Harry Potter during the New Year's Eve holiday. As time went on, Ana was able to pass down her taste in music as well. Jake still enjoys some good rock music because of her, one of his favorites being Skillet. Ana truly has played such a big part in Jake's life, so much so that when he got his first tattoo, he had it placed on the back of his shoulder because that is where Ana has her tattoo. Not only that, but when something happens (good or bad), Ana is one of the first people that Jake will tell. Jake finds that he can trust Ana with anything, and that she trusts him as well. For instance, Ana believed in Jake when he first got his driving permit, as she allowed him to drive all the way home that same day. They truly have done a lot together. Some of Jake's favorites have been taking trips to different places, going to the gun range, or playing card games. During all of these moments with one another, Ana has always been caring, helpful, and supportive. Jake also likes that Ana makes it a point to show that she is thinking about him. Ana may bring back Jake a souvenir from one of her trips, save him some food she made that she thinks he would enjoy, or will reach out to him just to check in. Jake loves Ana very much, and is thankful for all that she has done for him.
Alice Renna
Mom Mom of the Bride
Alice is Kristen's Mom Mom. Not only that, but Alice is the mother to 3 children, the Mom Mom to 8 grandchildren, and the great Mom Mom to 6 great grandchildren. At 92 years old, Alice has been around and seen a lot. A good amount of Kristen's childhood memories actually took place in Alice's house. However, Kristen felt like she got really close to Alice when she moved into Frank and Candie's house. As Kristen was living there too, they were able to spend lots of time together. One of Kristen's favorite times was when her, Alice, and Nick would play cards games with each other. Alice had taught them games that they hadn't even played before. Kristen also loved hearing all the stories that Alice would share from her past. When Kristen used to work night shift at UPS, there were times Alice would still be awake when she came home. Kristen would go into Alice's room to say hello, and next thing you know an hour or two had gone by of them just talking right before the sun would come up. Alice always had a way of making Kristen laugh and putting a smile on her face as well. Like how she would try to sing a song and get the lyrics wrong. The "Whales on the Bus" is one of Kristen's favorites for sure. Alice just knew how to light up a room with her sense of humor and joy, and Kristen loves her tremendously. Alice is also one who shows up for all the big life events, and Kristen and Jake's wedding is no exception; for that, Kristen is extremely thankful.
Desiree Baldwin
Maid of Honor
Desiree is one of Kristen's best friends, and they have known each other for about 15 years now. They first met while participating in a theatre company called Viviana Theatre. Desiree was performing in Annie while Kristen was helping with stage crew. Kristen, being the shy person that she is, tended to keep to herself. However, that didn't stop Des from befriending her. Later on, Kristen had joined the same Youth Group as Desiree. Not only that, but she eventually started performing in the shows along side Des rather than staying behind the scenes. This was when their friendship really started to grow. They were even able to branch out into other activities such as beach trips, concerts, dinner/lunch dates, horror nights, and much much more. They really have experienced and been through a lot together, and during those moments was when Kristen realized how caring, comical, creative, gorgeous, and talented Desiree truly is. Des is the friend that has become family, and Kristen couldn't be more grateful to have someone like Desiree by her side. PS. Judson, J3, is Jake's one and only brother. Being 12 years older than Jud, Jake can still remember when he used to change his diapers. Jake recalls how Juddy's hair used to be a blonde color, and now its a dark brown, to match the rest of the family. As Judson got older, Jake and him bonded by building Legos together. It was nice seeing that Jud had/has most of the same interests as Jake. For instance, they both love Minecraft, Marvel, and anime. Most recently Jake found out that they have a similar taste in music. Some of Jake's favorite activities to do with Jud is playing games. Whether that be nerf gun battles, videogames, board games, or card games. Jud is the only one in the family who Jake trusts to sit next to in Uno. Jake also likes how Jud is willing to team up in order to win a game. For example, they paired up in the single player game, spoons, so that they could be the top two left playing. Its crazy for Jake to think about how Judson used to be so small, and now they are nearly the same height. Jake was even able to take Jud out driving not too long ago and he now has his first job. Jake also enjoys seeing how excited Juddy can get when he is showing off the things that interest him. Like how whenever Jake would come over, Jud would instantly show off his newest Warhammer addition that was just painted. Judson is very talented with the little intricate details. Jake also hopes that Jud is just as excited as him to be standing next to each other come wedding day.
Joey Shoemaker

Joey, J2, is Jake's sister. When Joey was born, Jake was very excited. So much so that she is the reason Jake became an official Shoemaker. Jake asked their mom what Joey's last name was going to be, and he wanted to make sure that he too had the same last name as her. From that point on, they have spent lots of time together. One of Jake's favorite activities to do with Joey is going to the movies where they would stock up on snacks and goodies beforehand. Jake actually remembers them being able to see the first Avengers movie in theaters. Another fun memory that Jake likes to recall back on was when him and Joey went to Six Flags on a day that it was going to rain. With the weather not being the greatest, they actually ended up having more of an empty park which was nice. As Jake is about 10 years older than Joey, he found that he has been able to support her by driving Joey to different places. For instance, Jake was able to take Joey to her prom. He was even able to take her to get her first tattoo. However, Joey is able to drive herself around now as she has her own license and car as well. When Joey isn't taking herself to work, Jake enjoys the time spent as a family at their parents' house. It might be a little fomo, but Joey will even make sure she stays up until its time for Jake to leave. With all of this, Jake believes that Joey is turning into a great young woman, as she is funny, responsible, beautiful, and caring. Jake is happy to share his big day with Joey.
Jeremy Renna

Jeremy is Kristen's brother, and although there is an 11 year age gap between them, they get along very well. Growing up, Jeremy and Kristen didn't live in the same household. While Jeremy lived in Levittown, Kristen lived in Norwood. Eventually, Jeremy even moved out of state to SC. However, they didn't let that distance stop them from being there for one another. For instance, Kristen will always remember when Jeremy came up for a surprise visit to show his support during her high school graduation. During those younger years, Kristen would always jump with excitement when told that Jeremy was coming to visit or when she was going to visit him, as she didn't get to see him as often. Now that technology has improved so much, Kristen doesn't have to wait to see or hear from him. Either one of them can now pick up the phone to video call the other. They now spend hours on the phone and try to have the other involved as much as possible. Not only that, but Kristen noticed that they have been seeing each other a lot more in person lately as well. Whether it be holidays, vacations, celebrations, or the occasional trip to the Amish Market, they continue to make lots memories with each other. Kristen can also always count on Jeremy to bring the fun or start a family football game. Jeremy has proven himself to be hardworking, funny, and supportive. He is also a caring husband and a loving father to his daughter. His smile and laughter has and always will bring Kristen joy.
Jacqui Shoemaker

Jacqui, J4, is also Jake's sister. They are both 15 years apart, and coincidentally, Jacqui and Jake's name actually have the same meaning. However, even though their names mean the same thing, Jake finds that their personalities are quite different. Jake is more on the quiet side while Jacqui is more on the outgoing side. For instance, Jake has watched Jacqui enjoy her time on stage performing in dances and a musical while Jake would rather be backstage. That doesn't stop them from having similar interests though. Like all of the siblings, Jacqui is always up for a good game. One videogame that Jake has fun playing with Jacqui is Gang Beasts, its one of those games that always have them laughing. Another memory that Jake likes to look back on is when him, Jacqui, and Kristen all went trick or treating together in scarecrow costumes. Jake is grateful for all of the holidays they've gotten to spend together as a family. During these gatherings, you may find Jacqui attempting to wrestle Jake to the ground or continuing to insist that she's Jake's favorite. As Jacqui is getting into baking, she will try and have Jake taste her newest creations when he comes over as well. During these moments together, Jake can't help but notice how energetic, pretty, goofy, and kind Jacqui truly is. Jake also can't believe that she will be starting high school this year. Time seems to be moving so fast, however, Jake is looking forward to the time Jacqui and him will share come his wedding day.
Nicholas Renna

Nick is Kristen's brother, or broth as she likes to call him. They are about 3 1/2 years apart and have that typical sibling relationship. They tell each other pretty much everything and get along well, but oh boy do they also know how to annoy each other. He is one of the only people who can make Kristen angry and then laugh at her for it. Kristen will be getting tired and thinks I'll rest my head on his shoulder, nope he shrugs her head off. Kristen may have poked, slapped, and punched him a little too much. She remembers punching Nick in the gut so hard one time she knocked the wind out of him. These things may sound bad, but in the end they were all fun and games. Speaking of games, they played lots together. Board games, videogames, football games, and even made up games. They were always playing with their toys together too, her Bratz and Polly Pockets with his little action figures. As they got older they started going to amusement parks and would participate in escape rooms with their mutual friends. Speaking of friends, Kristen knows that if it wasn't for Nick's love of theatre, she never would have met her two closest friends. Kristen will always be thankful that he got involved in theatre. As they are both a bit shy, its actually helped them come out of their shells a little. However, Kristen knows Nicky is more than just a quiet guy. He is silly, entertaining, and kind, and Kristen hopes to never see Nick's happiness fade as it warms her heart seeing him happy.
Alicia Renna

Kristen met Alicia for the first time about 10 years ago. It was when Kristen's brother Jeremy was officially introducing Alicia to the family. Soon after that, Alicia and Jeremy had married one another, and Kristen had gained a sister. The only downfall is that Alicia lives in South Carolina while Kristen lives in Pennsylvania. However, by the use of FaceTime, Alicia was able to reassure Kristen that distance apart wouldn't stop them from getting to know one another. Alicia and Kristen will now call each other with just about anything, sometimes Alicia saying that Kristen has to come get her brother or niece for something silly that they've done. That is how Alicia and Kristen's bond had continued to expand all of these years. One of the things that Kristen found she loves about Alicia is the way that she likes to show that they are one big family. For instance, if its a vacation or a holiday, Alicia will have matching shirts or pjs for everyone. Being that Kristen is such a big family person, this would always bring Kristen joy when Alicia would find ways like these that would have them all gathering together. Kristen has also found it truly inspiring to see the way Alicia has become a devoted wife and a loving mother during all this time. In Kristen's eyes, Alicia is a smart, determined, and stunning woman; she truly is a force to be reckoned with.
Sam Devinney

Sam is one of Jake's good friends. They first met back when they were working at Oliver Heating and Cooling about 6 years ago. Jake found it easy to get along with Sam because he had a good sense of humor and was honest. From there they have bonded over anything and everything HVAC related. They are on the phone together many times throughout the day where they talk about work, life, and bust chops with their other friends. Outside of their working hours you can find them playing Helldivers 2 or Call of Duty Zombies. Even though Sam may be a little on the prehistoric side, that doesn't stop them from having a great time when they are together. Jake is happy that Sam will be up there with him on his special day.
Aimee Renna

Aimee recently married Kristen's brother Nick back in March, and is now Kristen's new sister-in-law! They first met each other about 2 1/2 years ago. Although it may not sound like too long ago, Kristen feels like they have still done a lot together. So far they have experienced a Disney vacation, sailed on a cruise, and celebrated important functions with one another. One of those days being Aimee's wedding of course. Kristen has also been able to support Aimee by attending her theatrical performances. Kristen is big on showing support, which is why when it came time for Aimee and Nick to move into their new home last year, Kristen was for sure to be there. It is an exciting time in Aimee's life right now, newly married with a new house. Kristen can't wait to see what the future holds for Aimee and Nick. Not only that, but Kristen is looking forward to having such a lovely, helpful, and sweet woman up there by her side on the wedding day.
Jake Dore

Jake is a good friend of Jacob's (Jake S.) and they have known each other for roughly 12 years now. Their friendship started back in their boy scout years. One of Jacob's favorite memories is when they were left unattended during a camping trip where they had made pancakes on a portable Coleman stove. In an effort to make the pancakes cook faster, Jake used pam cooking spray and a lighter to make a flame thrower. Where was Jacob during this you ask? He was just watching allowing it all to happen. Outside of boy scouts, Jake and Jacob have enjoyed their time playing videogames. The main game they like to play is Super Smash Brothers where they use their go to combo called "Operation Trees Suck." Lots of time was spent together playing these games with the occasional Wawa run. Jacob is grateful for the moments shared with Jake and is glad to have him by his side.
Bec Smith

Bec is one of Kristen's best friends. Their friendship had sparked about 13 years ago while performing in Cats the Musical. Kristen still remembers the scene where she had to do a running jump and land on Bec's back, which may have been unsuccessful most of the time. It was the little moments like these where Bec and Kristen started getting close. If there was ever a time when a show or rehearsal wasn't happening, you would find Bec and Kristen spending their quality time together at an Escape Room, a dinner night, a shopping trip, or just chillin at Des's parents' house. Not only that, but within the past two years, Bec and Kristen have become coworkers at University of Pennsylvania. Seeing Bec work in the field has only enhanced how Kristen views her as a person, which is clever, crafty, pretty, and very helpful. Gideon is a long time friend of Jake's. They first met in 7th grade, which was 16 years ago at Phil-Mont. Throughout the academic years they have enjoyed playing spades in the cafeteria, boycotting Anatomy, driving home together from school, and going to Chick-fil-A for lunch out. After graduation, they still made sure to stay in contact with one another. Some of Jake's favorite moments with Gideon is playing Super Smash Brothers, going to the movies to see the latest Marvel film, and grabbing a bite to eat while catching up on life. With Gideon recently moving out to Texas, Jake couldn't be more excited to have him up there with him on his wedding day.
Felicia Renna

Felicia is one of Kristen's closest cousins. Felicia is also one of the people in Kristen's life where their shared memories go way back. One of the earliest moments Kristen can remember is spending time together at their Mom Mom's house. They used to play on the wooden swing set that was in the back yard, play with the toys that was in the back playroom, and play floor hockey in the living room. One of the sweetest things that Kristen loves about her was how every year Felicia would give Kristen one of her stuffed animals. It started at one of Nick's birthday parties, and even though it was a day to celebrate Nick, Felicia still brought a little something for Kristen. It just shows how giving Felicia is. When she loves someone, she will go out of her way to show it. Later on into adulthood, Kristen has witnessed Felicia pour that love into her three adorable daughters. Its amazing to see the kind of woman that Felicia has become after all of these years. Kristen truly believes Felicia to be a beautiful, strong, and outspoken woman. It also brings Kristen so much joy seeing how excited Felicia is to be included in all of the wedding festivities, and Kristen is just as ecstatic to be having Felicia up by her side to share the special day.
Steve Mam

Steve is a good friend of Jake's. Like Sam, Jake met Steve at Oliver Heating and Cooling about 6 years ago. One of the things that Jake really liked about Steve was that even though he was done work for the day, he would still stick around and help everyone else to make sure their work was done on time too. Outside of work, Steve and Jake would spend their free time playing video games, their go to being GTA 5, or going out to eat. Speaking of eating, a funny time that Jake likes to recall back on was when they were going to go grab something to eat. Steve recommended that they all go to Denny's as he knew the way to get there. After about an hours journey they finally made it. However, when they got there, it ended up being a shut down IHOP. When they do actually make it an open restaurant, Jake notices that Steve is always willing to share his food. The only thing he's not willing to share is how he gets customers to give him food. However, Jake is thankful that Steve is willing to share the big day with him.
Jubilee Renna

Jubilee is Kristen's niece. She has been a part of Kristen's life for 8 years now. Kristen remembers the first time that she got to meet Jubilee. She was so small, and all she would do is sleep most of the time. Soon she was able to crawl and walk around, which was so fun to see. Kristen remembers the littlest things she could do to amuse Juju. Not to mention the way she would talk before she could form words, too cute. Kristen finds it even more entertaining that Jubilee is able to read now too. The last time Juju came to visit, Kristen created a scavenger hunt for her. It was so precious seeing the excitement on Jubilee's face when she would realize she understood the clue that would then lead her to the next clue. Of course she finished through it flawlessly. She is truly turning into such a bright child. Not to mention, she is very tech savvy. Juju has called Kristen many times on Facetime, always wanting to share her screen so that Kristen can watch her play Roblox. Its the little moments like these where Jubilee makes Kristen feel special. Kristen hopes that Juju will always want to continue sharing her interests, which are currently math, reading, crafts, makeup, squishies, and slime. Being the Auntie of such a smart, kind, lovable, and beautiful young lady is the greatest thing. Kristen loves Jubilee so much, and she is so happy to have Juju there on such an important day.
Eddie Renna

Eddie is also one of Kristen's closest cousins. Whenever Kristen looks back on big family events, Eddie is always there. In their younger years, these events would take place at their Mom Mom's house, and Kristen can remember the game they played that had them all climbing up into Eddie's bunk bed or watching Eddie and her brothers skate boarding down the hill out front of the house. Kristen's favorite moment with Eddie has to be during their one trip to Florida. They started out by going to Universal Studios, and Kristen was excited for Eddie getting to see all of the Fast and Furious cars. It was then followed by a Norwegian cruise. One of the stops the ship made was at Nassau where they got to enjoy a fun day at the Aquaventure water park. Then when they returned, they got to have fun bike rides around the town. With all of this time spent together throughout the years, Eddie has shown Kristen that he is supportive, caring, and down for a good time. Kristen has also seen how amazing of a father Eddie is and knows that he would do anything for his son, Dominic. Eddie is also always willing to help when needed, and Kristen is very thankful that he will be helping walk her mom down the aisle as her dad will be unable to.

Briana is another one of Kristen's closest cousins and has been a part of Kristen's life for as long as she can remember. As Briana lived right around the corner from Kristen, they were able to see a lot of one another. Actually, if Briana was standing on her back deck, Kristen was able to see her from her house. Summer breaks was when they spent most of their time together. Sometimes they would spend a week or more together, taking turns sleeping over at the other's house. Kristen likes to recall back on one sleepover when she had her first "catfight" with Briana. They laugh about it all the time, with poor Nick breaking them up. Growing up their favorite pass time was playing with their Bratz, Polly Pockets, and Littlest Pet Shop toys, playing with their DSs talking on PictoChat, playing a game called Habbo on their laptops, swimming in Aunt Mary's pool, or watching Disney channel. Kristen also remembers meeting on the corner every morning so that they could walk to school together. They even were able to go on a couple trips with each other, like Wildwood and Florida. Kristen will always enjoy all the giggles, late nights, and fun times shared with Briana, and she is looking forward to any upcoming plans that they will make together as well. Briana truly is such a sweet, funny, and beautiful person, and Kristen is extremely thankful that Briana will be helping Mom Mom down the aisle the day of the wedding.
