One of the most popular places to hang out in Madison, the Memorial Union Terrace at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is located on Lake Mendota. The terrace has food, drinks and a great sunset view over the lake. This is a great place to gather with a small to medium group of people to catch up over the weekend.
Olbrich Botanical Gardens

Olbrich Botanical Gardens is a beautiful botanical garden on Madison's west side near Lake Monona. The outdoor section is free admission, and it is also located across the street from a large park. This is also the first place Kate and Jake spent quality time together in July 2020.
