Casual summer attire.
Friday's group event is a tour of Asheville's biggest attraction- The Biltmore Estate and Winery! Joining us at this event is optional for guests who are able to get into town a bit early. Note that this expense will not be covered by the couple, but we do have a discount code. Use the URL below and select the 11:30 tour time. At check out, use the code below. It should be $101. Kids are free! Note that the tour is an audio tour and at your own pace, so if 11:30 sells out, just pick a slot near it and you can jump in with us once you get going. 11:30 currently has 67 slots remaining (as of 4/19/25). Most guests spend a half day at the Biltmore between their house tour, exploring the gardens and grounds, checking out Antler Hill Village & Winery, and the complimentary wine tasting. Casual summer attire.
After our visit to the The Biltmore, people can make their way to Deerwoode Reserve and we will get everyone settled into their cabins. Beginning around 6:00, we will provide a casual food-truck meal and beverages for all guests. We will have some lawn games and hope people get some time together to enjoy all the beauty and fun that Deerwoode has to offer!
4:30 pm - 10:30 pm
This time of year is typically warm in Asheville and surrounding areas. Therefore, for attire, we are going with "summer dressy casual". Hawaiian shirts with khakis or dress pants and summer dresses or jumpsuits are encouraged! No jeans please.
Wedding Time! We hope to have an outdoor ceremony at Deerwoode Reserve in an area that is almost fully unshaded when sunny. The ceremony will be approximately 30 minutes long. The cocktail hour will take place at the covered, outdoor space by the reception location about 200 yards away. The reception will be indoors where AC is widely distributed with a buffet style dinner. Bring your dancing shoes! We must have the event center all closed down by 11:00 PM sharp, but we can continue the party outside of there until whenever! We are excited to play volleyball and have some fire pits going!

This is a totally optional event for a last chance to share a meal together before we all disperse. We will provide simple breakfast items. Come stay awhile or grab-and-go if you need to! We must be out of the cabins and event center by noon.
