Tri-Rail
For transportation to Aventura, the Tri-Rail has train stations at both Miami and Ft. Lauderdale Airports. The trains run about every 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the time. The closest station to the venue/hotels is the Golden Glades Station. Tickets are 5 dollars one way. This method of transportation is less practical given the need to wait for the train and frequent stops.

Brightline
For transportation to Aventura, Brightline high-speed rail has stops in both Ft. Lauderdale and Downtown Miami. From Miami International Airport, you can take the metro-rail from the Airport stop to Government Center. The closest station to the venue/hotels is the Aventura Station. The Brightline is more expensive, and less practical for transportation coming to and from the airport, but can be a nice way to explore downtown Miami including Bayfront Park and Brickell.
