Things To Do

If you find yourself with extra time in Wichita-try out some of our favorite activities!

The Keeper of the Plains

339 Veterans Parkway, Wichita, KS 67203

The Keeper is an iconic Wichita sight and miniature Keeper statues can be found all over the city. The main Keeper sits on the Arkansas River and has a nightly fire lighting ceremony. In October, the lighting should occur around 7p.m. nightly. The Keeper is special to our story, and to the city of Wichita.

Watermark Books & Cafe

4701 East Douglas Avenue, Wichita, KS 67218

This is the infamous bookstore of our first date and is a great indie bookstore.

Wichita Art Museum

1400 Museum Boulevard, Wichita, KS 67203

Admission is free on Saturday if you're looking for a pre or post wedding activity!

Old Town

Wichita, KS

A historic area with brick-lined streets, trendy shops, restaurants, and nightlife.

Copper Oven Cafe & Bakery

2409 West 13th Street North, Wichita, KS 67203

One of our brunch spots that earned an elusive 6 stars. They have great food, good coffee and fun service.

Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza - Wichita College Hill

4817 East Douglas Avenue, Wichita, KS 67218

A favorite for Pizza Fridays. Brick oven pizza or pasta and salads-you can't go wrong!
