When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We kindly ask for RSVPs to be submitted by October 5th 2024 so we can make sure there's enough dessert for everyone.

What if I can't make it?
Answer
You will definitely be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan ahead.

Are kids welcome?

We adore the kids in our life, and would love to dole our hugs and jokes to all of your kids during our reception.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We're excited you have someone you'd like to bring! Unfortunately, we are hosting a small wedding and have a very limited guest list due to our venue. We'd be happy to get to know your date at another time.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the best present of all, truly. Gifts are not expected, but as some people have asked, we have put together a registry of some items to kickstart our life together, including gift cards for to help us continue our Tuesday Date Night tradition. All of this can be found under the "registry" tab of our website.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Parking is available on 11th street outside the venue. The venue is conveniently located in Oak Park in the Riverside neighborhood in Wichita. The street is quiet and should have ample parking for guests. There will not be handicapped parking available, unfortunately. There is a sidewalk on 11th street leading to the front entrance of the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

While we are not providing transportation to and from the events, the ceremony and reception are in the same location and there is plenty of parking available. if you do not wish to drive, we suggest taking an Uber or Lyft.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our wedding is casual and we encourage everyone to wear what they feel comfortable in! The ceremony is indoors with the reception taking place indoors and outdoors. We encourage guests to dress for the late fall Kansas weather. If you would like to dress in the style of our colors, they are burnt and vibrant orange, watermelon pinks, and sage greens.

What shoes should I wear?
Answer
The venue is mostly indoors located in a city park. However, weather permitting, we are planning to have lawn games set up for guests to enjoy throughout the receptions. If you plan to be a fierce lawn games competitor, keep in mind the grass and leaves environment of the park.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
In Wichita, October temperatures vary between a high-temperature of 68.4°F (20.2°C) and a low-temperature of 50.4°F (10.2°C). But of course, this is the Midwest- anything can happen.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please plan on arriving around 12:40pm to give yourself time to park and find a seat before the ceremony begins at 1 p.m. (This was written by Tabbie who is notoriously late. Adjust the time how you want based on that info :) )

Can I take photos?
Answer
Absolutely! We're excited to see the day through the lens of our family and friends. Look out for a QR code the day of that you can scan and upload your snapshots to.

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After we say "I do", we welcome you to join us for a casual dessert reception. We're planning to have both a popcorn and cheesecake topping bar, lawn games, and non-alcoholic beverages (apple cider, tea, water). The reception will end by 3:15pm so we have plenty of time to exit the venue.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Our reception is dessert-only and will include a cheesecake topping bar and for our salty loving friends and family, a popcorn toppings bar. Common allergens may be nuts (in separate containers), corn, and dairy.

The reception will end around 3:15pm to give us plenty of time to leave the venue in shape for the next folks.
