Glacier National Park
GNP is only about a 30 minute drive from Whitefish to the park entrance! There is plenty of hiking available depending on when the park opens. If you have the time, it is our greatest suggestion. That said, if you have a day and you want to see some views, but not work too hard, we suggest the following: *Lake McDonald* *Avalanche Lake Trail* *Hidden Lake Trail* *Driving The Going to The Sun Road (Takes about two-three hours from the park entrance roundtrip)* *Lake Mary & 3 Falls*
Great Northern Whitewater Rafting

Big Mountain
Plenty of things to do and see on Big Mountain — a ski resort in the winter and a beautiful place to hike and pick huckleberries in the summer. You can ride the lift to the top of the mountain for breathtaking views of Glacier National Park, Whitefish Lake and our lovely valley. There’s even zip lining, an alpine slide and mountain biking.
City Beach
Great place to lay out, swim and take in the views of Big Mountain. There’s paddle board and kayak rentals right on the beach for some extra fun.

Brash rodeo is a fun stop for a Thursday night. With mountain views, this outdoor rodeo is the perfect way to embrace a trip to Montana.
