The BEST gyros!
This ancient city was covered in a heap of volcanic ash in the late 17th century B.C., preserving it for present-day archaeologists and interested tourists. The site is so well preserved that it is often referred to as the Pompeii of the Aegean.
Santorini has some amazing wineries, you can go on organized tours or check them out on your own. Of course Santo Wines Winery is our favorite and you will be able to experience that on the day of the wedding. Venetsanos Winery is one we loved and recommend for the fabulous view and rosé! Check out the link for info on tours and descriptions of each.
This is one of the most popular things to do in Santorini. The hike takes somewhere between 2 and 5 hours depending on your speed and how many pictures you take along the way. The walk starts in Fira moves north through Firostefani and then Imerovigli. From Imerovigli to Oia it's largely rural with a few shops or restaurants on this stretch of path.
