Question

How do we get around the island?

Answer

SCHEDULED SHUTTLE: The hotels we have recommended provide transfer service to/from the airport, as we well as to down town Fira a couple times of day. Most hotels do this, if you are not staying at a hotel, you can also schedule a shuttle through several local companies. http://www.santorinishuttle.com/ https://www.shuttledirect.com/en/airport/jtr.html https://www.santoriniairport.co/ TAXI: There are less than 40 cabs on the island, so they are not as abundant as you're used to but they are available. Have the hotel/restaurants call them for you as needed since you probably won't find them quickly on your own. (There are plenty at the airport and ferry port though). CAR RENTAL: There are many car rental companies on the island. Parking is free everywhere, but sometimes hard to find in the main villages. If you need an automatic transmission, be sure to book in advance. ATVs, Scooters, Smart-cars are available to rent as well. Bus service available as well.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

There will be shuttle pick up and drop off services from Volcano View Hotel to all wedding events listed in the schedule.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We wish we could invite everybody and their families. Unfortunately, due to venue constraints, we've had to limit children to family only.

When will the bride and groom be there?

Answer

We plan to be there 4 days before the wedding and a day or two after.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. If you don't want to take the shuttle, you are welcome to drive; there is plenty of parking.
