We're (finally) getting married!

Cors and Jacki have known each other all of their lives. They attended grade school, middle school, and high school together. They share a precious communion picture, Jacki wrote about Andrew in her 4th grade journal, and Jacki found a few photos in her high school/college photo album that Cors was in. They had mutual friends, but the two of them never really hung out together. After high school, Cors attended college and then began a career with a wind energy company. This job had him on the road often and for weeks at a time (mostly out of state). Jacki attended a college nearby, but then moved out of state for 5 years and worked as a nurse after graduation. Jacki moved back to Minnesota (Minneapolis) in 2016, and Cors was establishing a home in New London at that time but was still on the road constantly. In July of 2017, Cors and Jacki both happened to be in the NLS area... maybe fate? They ran into each other 4th of July weekend in Spicer (Jacki was headed to Zorbaz with Courtney to dance and Cors was headed to O'neils). Jacki decided she better check to see if she had Cors' updated number (turns out she had his old one, and also turns out Cors didn't even have her name in his contacts!!). After a couple text exchanges and a couple weeks later, it was time to attend their 10-year class reunion. Jacki and Cors hung out together with friends after the reunion, and they've been a duo since (essentially long distance for the first 3 years before Jacki moved back to New London and Andrew had a job change within his company). Since reunion, Jacki also started referring to him as Andrew, not 'Cors' anymore. A Hallmark, hometown love story, perhaps. Not something either of them (or others) would have guessed at the time, but they couldn't be happier and are so glad their relationship went the direction it did. August of 2024, Jacki and Andrew will have 'officially' been together for 7 years, and on September 28, 2024, they will officially start their journey as a married couple and spend the rest of their sunsets together!!! They are SO looking forward to celebrating with their family and friends!
