Getting around in Pienza in Taxis
All taxis must be scheduled in advance. There are no Ubers in Pienza :-) We will be providing transportation to and from the wedding on Friday, July 5th. We highly suggest renting a car for this trip! Getting to Pienza by Bus or Train
Buses and trains take around 3 hours from Florence and Rome, and 4.5 hours from Pisa. It's a longer trip, but also cheap and scenic!

FLORENCE is a 1.5 hour drive to Pienza, but has limited direct flights from the US. ROME is a 2.5 hour drive to Pienza, and has many direct flights from the US. PISA is a 2.5 hour drive to Pienza.

We have reserved rooms at Relais Il Chiostro di Pienza (in Pienza), Hotel San Gregorio, and Palazzo Massaini (right outside), which are booking quickly. Transportation will be provided to/from Pienza and these locations on the day of the wedding. We're also recommending a few other hotels in Pienza that you can book directly. Anything in Pienza will be an easy walk to the Welcome Event and wedding transportation.

13th century monastery converted into a hotel 15 minutes from wedding location in pedestrian town center of Pienza. Also the location of Welcome Party. 37 rooms total reserved for discounted rates ranging between €125-245. As of August 2023, 23 rooms remaining.
