How do I get to Monforte D'Alba from the Airports (Turin, Milan, Nice)?

Turin The closest airport to Monforte D'Alba. It is about an hour and a half drive. If you fly in to Turin you will most likely have to take a connecting flight from another major European city - London, Frankfurt, Munich etc. The plus for flying in to Turin would be the quicker drive and more affordable taxi ride. Car Rentals are available as well and provide convenience for any travel in the area before, during and after the wedding Milan About a 2 and a half hour drive to Monforte D'Alba. A car rental would be recommended as a taxi ride could be pricier. More options for direct flights which is a plus. Nice About a 2 and a half to 3 hour drive to Monforte D'Alba. A car rental would be recommended as the drive along the coast would be beautiful.

Renting a car provides the most flexibility and ease of getting around Northern Italy and the surrounding areas. If you are not planning on renting a car and using a taxi service from Turin - please let use know as we may be able to arrange a van with other guests. Italy has a good train system connecting most of it's major cities (Milan to Venice, Florence to Rome etc.) That would be your best option in addition to taxis.

What should I wear?

The Wedding and Rehearsal dinner are both outside. It could get warm in the Summer so go with lighter clothing. The below are examples of what to wear for the Wedding and Rehearsal dinner. Have fun with your style and be yourself! Wedding Attire Summer Formal (eg. Light Suit if wanted, Sport Coat, Tie Optional, Slacks and a dress shirt, Summer Dress, Cocktail Dress) Rehearsal Attire More Casual - Buttoned down shirt, shorts, khakis, light dress, jumpsuit The average temperature in July is 85. It could get humid as well - dress light and comfortable for you travels. Especially shoes - there are many cobblestone streets. Lows at night could be in the low to mid 60's.
