What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest is the Syracuse-Hancock International Airport in Syracuse, NY (about 1 hour from Hamilton).

Where should we stay?

Answer

There's a few hotels in Hamilton which would be great, but we think the vibe of the weekend would be best captured if you rented a house on AirBnB or VRBO for your crew. The students are on summer break so there should be plenty to go around. Have a reunion of your own with your friends or family and then take breaks to celebrate with us!

What's the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Cocktail attire is perfect (cocktail dresses for ladies, suit + tie or sport coats for dudes). We aren't wearing tuxes so don't feel you need to!

How will transportation to and from the wedding and ceremony work if we don't want to drive?

Answer

Colgate Cruisers will be zooming around town to take you to and from the wedding festivities. Pre-wedding: 3:25pm: Pick up at Hamilton Farmhouse (1161 Poolville Road) 3:30pm: Pick-up at Hamilton Inn (4480 East Lake Rd) 3:40pm: Pick-up at Weathervane Farm (2088 Spring Street) 3:50: Pick-up at 65 Madison Street 3:55pm: Pick-up at Colgate Inn Post-reception: 10:30pm: Pick-up at the Hall of Presidents (James C. Colgate Student Union) for transport to the after-party downtown at Risky Business OR your home if you're ready to turn in (just let the driver know) Post-after party: 1:00am: 2 Cruisers will be taking everyone home from the after party at Risky Business

If I'm driving myself, where do I park on campus?

Below is a link to a map of Colgate. You'll notice that for the ceremony at Colgate Memorial Chapel, there are parking lots at Spear House, Alumni Hall and behind Lawrence, Lathrop and McGregory Halls. But, if you're interested in only parking once, then park at the lots at Lally Lane and Case-Geyer Library. Both are next to the reception (the Hall of Presidents at the James C.
