Jackie first saw Connor the night of July 10th, 2015 in Charlottesville, VA. Connor, on the other hand, had seen Jackie twice before. He remembered seeing her scoping out the salad bar at the hospital about 8 months prior and again while he was visiting a friend who lived in the same apartment complex as Jackie about 1 month before. At that time, she had been by the pool amidst a group of girlfriends and, despite his friend's urging, thought better of strolling up to a group of girls he had never met to introduce himself to Jackie. Flash forward to July 10th. Connor was finishing up a night of partying with some friends to celebrate the end of a two week night float rotation and was leaving Escafe, a local dance club. Jackie was crossing the street with a group of friends, making her way to the bar Mono Loco. His friends were ready to call it a night but Connor spotted Jackie and said that they needed to regroup and head to Mono Loco. A few minutes later, Jackie thought she was just randomly meeting a large group of people that happened to include one tall glass of water, Connor Louden, and had no idea how premeditated this all was on Connor's part. Connor said he was a radiology resident and Jackie made some quip about how nice it was for them to let him out of the basement for a night out. By the end of the conversation, they'd exchanged details and went on a hike at Crabtree Falls exactly one week later. The rest is history!
