Sunriver Resort
Lots to do in the Resort! You can rent bikes, and the entire resort is bike friendly (recommend you remember the nearest roundabout as they are numbered and its how you'll navigate on bikes) -Marina: You can float the Deschutes River in a kayak, paddleboard, innertube, etc. and be driven back by the resort if launching from the Marina Sunriver has indoor and outdoor pools, pickleball and tennis courts, stables, golf, bars, and so much more. Other Areas to Explore in Oregon
COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE: The Columbia River Gorge has a lot of wineries and waterfalls. Amelia and Jack visited Hood River for Amelia's birthday and did a bunch of waterfall hikes. This area is also lower in altitude so less likely to still be covered in snow in spring. OREGON COAST: The Oregon Coast is a beautiful area, mountainous and forested where the sea meets land. We recommend a drive along Highway 1, and one of our first hikes in Oregon was the Heceta Head Lighthouse WILLAMETTE VALLEY: The Willamette Valley has some nice wineries and some beautiful scenery. This area is more rainy, but lush and green and less likely to be impacted by unmelted snow during your stay here in Oregon. EASTERN OREGON: Eastern Oregon is mostly federal land, and there are some beautiful areas near the Idaho border. Leslie Gulch is one you may have seen that became instagram famous.
