Please note that June 13 is the LAST DAY the Group Promo Code will be available, if you try to modify your room after June 13 you WILL NOT receive our group rate.

Question

When should I plan on arriving at the resort and how many nights should I stay?

Answer

The Excellence Riviera Cancun has a 3-night minimum in order to receive our promo code rates/discounts, but we invite you to stay longer, if possible. We want this to be a nice vacation for you in addition to the wedding festivities, so you are more than welcome to stay at the resort for as long as you like; just indicate how many nights you want to stay when you book! The duration of your stay is entirely up to you however we recommend arriving on August 22nd or August 23rd so you have plenty of time to relax and settle in before the Wedding on August 25th! ***The resort will be hosting a FIESTA night on Friday August 22nd and we plan to have a "Welcome" night that evening. The Welcome night is nothing formal so please don't feel that you need to attend and arrive Friday; this is simply to get everyone together and have an evening all out together before the wedding! Please note the promo code rates are ONLY good for August 21 - August 27.

Question

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

This is included with our promo code and stay! Please send ALL airfare information, arrival time, departure time and flight numbers to Jacinda once you've booked!

Question

Is there a dress code for the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends to get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a short sleeve dress shirt or long sleeve dress shirt (tie if you want) and slacks or dressy shorts while women wear a cocktail dress or dressy separates. Please don't be shy with colors ;). Please also be mindful of the weather when deciding on what to wear as it's going to be HOT and very HUMID! Please no jeans/denim. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are all being held outside! Please note for ladies that the ceremony is in the sand when considering shoes!

Question

Do we have to tip at the resort?

Answer

Tipping is highly encouraged. We typically bring cash with us and allocate about $100 a day for tipping. These are just suggestions based off our past experiences, we typically tip as a couple $5-7 for house keeping each morning, $5 breakfast & lunch, $10 dinner, grabbing drinks from the bar we typically will tip $10 if we plan to grab a few drinks, for the pool bar we typically tip $20 and the bartenders tend to take VERY well care of us. These are all just suggestions, and again tips are not required, but highly recommended.

Question
