Two months after moving to San Francisco, Abbi was convinced last-minute to go to a house party, where she met Josh. After introductions over a few drinks, they found themselves locking eyes across the flip cup table. They chatted away the rest of the night, while Abbi had to put up with Josh's constant Dr. Evil impressions.

After dating for a couple of months, including porsche rides to waterfall hikes and music documentaries, Abbi and Josh made the spontaneous (and life-changing) decision to drive down to LA one weekend to see Paul McCartney in concert. A weekend at the beach ended with Abbi and Josh singing their hearts out and falling in love. The ride home through Big Sur was filled with Paul McCartney's music, an impromptu decision to pull over and watch the sunset, and Josh asking the most romantic question "Does this mean you're my girlfriend?"

High on their trip to LA, Abbi and Josh wanted to see all the places they could go. A weekend backpacking excursion, a road trip through Arizona, and finally their first international trip together to see the Christmas markets in Austria. Abbi and Josh realized early-on that they had a common love for seeing the world which eventually grew into a desire for something more...

A year or so into covid lockdown together, Abbi and Josh decided it was time for a change. They harnessed their mutual desire to postpone growing up by moving across the pond to London. This move was the ultimate test for their relationship as it was the first time that Abbi and Josh lived together! Things went smoothly once Josh was house-trained. London proved to be a hotspot for some of their favorite visitors and unlocked even more adventures.

On a day during one of their many trips abroad from London, Abbi had a sneaking suspicion: Josh never holds her hand this much. Her intuition was spot on. In Granada, Spain, Josh had prepared a charcuterie board, a playlist, and a game: match each song on the playlist to a memory from our relationship. Over an hour later, a song came on that Abbi didn't recognize. As she tried to hum the lyrics, the chorus broke: "Marry me". Tears flowed freely as Josh got on one knee to pop the question.
