FLIGHT NOTE: The recommended time frame to book flights is between now and 2 months beforehand. Flight tracking: You can track flights and prices through Google Flights and get alerts when the price on your preferred route changes. Flight watching: Hopper, an app in the App Store, allows to you "watch" flights. The free version of the app gives you advice on whether to Wait or Buy. It also gives you the estimated lowest price. DUBLIN NOTE: The Dublin Marathon will be taking place on 25th October (the day before the wedding) for those planning to see Dublin first, please plan accordingly when leaving the city.
Flight
Dublin Airport
Many guests may choose to fly into Dublin Airport and then continue on to Kerry by domestic flight, train, coach, or rental car. Kerry Airport offers direct flights to and from Dublin.
Train
Dublin Heuston Station
For guests flying into Dublin Airport, a lovely option is to travel to Kerry by train. Guests can take the train from Dublin Heuston Station to Tralee, then take a taxi to Ballyseede Castle. Tralee is the closest main train station to the castle, making this a straightforward option for those not hiring a car.

Dublin Airport has car rental desks in the arrivals halls of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, making it a straightforward option for guests arriving internationally.
Flight
Shannon Airport
Guests may choose to fly into Shannon Airport and then continue on to Tralee or Ballyseede Castle by rental car, taxi, coach, or train via Limerick. Shannon is one of the closest airports to the venue, making it a convenient option for travel to Kerry.

The airport has a dedicated car-hire centre, where you’ll find a selection of official car rental providers based in the Arrivals Hall who offer car rental on-site.
Train
Limerick Colbert Station
Depending on your arrival time, you could travel from Shannon Airport to Limerick city by bus or taxi (approx. 30 minutes), then take a train from Limerick to Tralee (approx. 2 hours). This is a scenic but slightly longer option.
