Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, there will be different dress codes for the weekend. For the welcome party, attire is smart casual. Our wedding will take place at a castle in Ireland, moving from afternoon into dusk and into a candlelit evening. We’re inviting guests to dress in Romantic Formal attire — polished, elegant looks that feel appropriate for a formal wedding in a historic setting, without the expectation of purchasing anything new or overly extravagant. Romantic Formal is about classic evening wear that feels timeless, comfortable, and refined. Floor-length gowns are welcome but not required — elegant midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or refined evening separates are all perfect choices. For men, suits or tuxes are appropriate. A classic black or dark suit is ideal, and ties or bow ties are optional but encouraged. As the celebration moves into the evening, temperatures may be cool and there's always a chance for rain. While the wedding will be indoors, we encourage guests to plan for warmth with outer layers or a raincoat. Above all, we want you to feel comfortable, confident, and yourself. If it’s something you’d happily wear to an elegant evening wedding, it’s exactly right.

Question
