Question

What is the address for the venue?

Answer

The Harmac 411 6th Ave SE Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52401

Question

Do I need to attend the ceremony, or can I just come for the reception?

Answer

Our ceremony space is a bit more intimate than the reception area, so it may be a cozy fit! Don’t worry—we’re keeping things short and sweet. If you'd prefer to skip the ceremony and join us for the celebration afterward, feel free to arrive around 5:45 PM for cocktail hour. Either way, we can’t wait to see you and celebrate together!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, we have a 90-space parking lot available for our guests, along with free side street parking on weekends right next to the venue. If you plan on drinking, we kindly ask that you arrange for a ride or use Uber to get home. You’re welcome to leave your car overnight and pick it up the following day.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

It's all indoors and all at one location.

Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Doors will open at 4:30 PM — we invite you to come early, grab a drink, and mingle with friends and family before the ceremony begins. We kindly ask that everyone be seated by 5:00 PM for our short and sweet ceremony. Thank you for being on time and helping us kick off the celebration smoothly!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our celebration will be casual and laid-back. You're welcome to wear jeans or whatever makes you feel comfortable. Just come as you are and enjoy the day with us!

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We’ll be serving hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entrée. Options will include meat, chicken, gluten-free, and nut-free meals. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please don’t hesitate to let us know — we truly want everyone to feel comfortable and well-fed! The bride has a severe nut allergy, so we completely understand the importance of accommodating dietary needs. Please reach out to the bride directly at (319) 382-4282 with any food concerns or special requests. We’ll do our best to make sure everyone is taken care of.

Question

Are children and plus-ones Welcome?

Answer

Children and plus-ones are welcome where invited. We’ve done our best to include everyone we can, but due to space and logistics, we’re only able to accommodate those named on the invitation. We’re so grateful for your understanding.

Question

What should I know about the venue?

Answer

Our celebration will take place on the third floor of the venue. Don’t worry—there’s both elevator and stair access, so it’s easy for everyone to get to. In the main area, you’ll find: – Dinner table seating – Guest book table (please sign in!) – Bar – Dance floor The ceremony will be held in a smaller room to the left-hand side. There will be plenty of chairs for everyone to sit comfortably. We’ll have a few rows reserved for immediate family, but otherwise, feel free to sit wherever you like.
