We can't wait to share our special day with you and have gathered a list of popular FAQ's to avoid confusion during our special weekend. We hope that this experience is as enjoyable and memorable for you as it will be for us!
Question

When should I confirm my attendance? When should I confirm my attendance?

Answer

Please RSVP by December 31st, 2024, as this will give us ample time to finalize seating arrangements and catering needs. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated.

Question

Will there be other events to attend during the wedding weekend? Will there be other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes, we're planning a weekend of celebration! In addition to our wedding day, please join us for a welcome party and multiple Saturday activities to choose from. All details are in the "Schedule" tab of our website. Please RSVP for all events you can confidently attend.

Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

YES, some of our wedding events will have a dress code to ensure the elegance of the event is maintained. Our Welcome Party has a strict "Semi-Formal/Cocktail - Shades of Green" attire. Our Wedding has a strict "Formal Black Tie - Shades of Green, Browns, or Black" attire. These are the official wedding colors, and we want everyone on our big day to look elegant, beautiful, and in unison. Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our special day will be primarily celebrated outdoors, taking advantage of the beautiful scenery and natural ambiance. We've chosen a picturesque location that captures the essence of our love and provides a stunning backdrop for our ceremony. Our reception, however, is a hybrid of indoors and outdoors. Portugal weather is everchanging, so we do have a contingency plan in place in case of inclement weather to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of everyone involved.

Question

Can I bring a date?Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to venue capacity and our wish to keep the celebration intimate, we are currently limiting invitations to those explicitly named on the invitation. We provided plus ones to our guests that are married or in committed relationships, if there has been a mistake and we missed you, please text/call the Bride or Groom for an update to your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are children welcome?Are children welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but have decided to make our ceremony and reception an adult-only affair. However, we are excited to share that all other events throughout the weekend are kid-friendly, and we warmly welcome your little ones to join us for those. For those who decide to bring their children, we are coordinating with the venue to provide a childcare option during the ceremony and reception for an additional fee. If you are interested in this service, please reach out to us directly to be included in the separate communication for these specific arrangements. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are we allowed to take photos at the ceremony? Are we allowed to take photos at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the actual ceremony. This is a special moment that we would like to keep intimate and uninterrupted, and we have professional photographers who will capture every angle. We encourage everyone to be fully present with us during these moments. However, before and after the ceremony, we absolutely welcome and encourage you to take as many photos as you'd like. We're excited to see our wedding through your eyes! Don't forget to use the wedding hashtag #ForeverIyawe
