Chris and Ashley started working together at Ellis Elementary at the same time. Being newbies at the school, they quickly bonded over the use of technology in classrooms and happy hours outside of school.

Casey is the younger sister of Kylie, so she got stuck with Lynette being around all through middle and high school. Over time their friendship bloomed. Casey lives down in VA, near Lynette and Chris, so they hang out often.

Steven and Chris met 7 years ago as teachers working together in Manassas. Chris would routinely join Steven's PE classes and play games with the students. Over the past 5 years, Steven and Chris have played on the same hockey team together, coming home with 3 championships.
