If you have any questions other than what we've listed here, please email us at its.schnauzer.never@gmail.com.
Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 29.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Please be mindful that September weather in North Carolina will still feel like summer, so dress accordingly.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be in a shaded outdoor space, weather permitting (there is a backup secondary location onsite in case of rain). Cocktail hour will primarily be on a covered patio, with indoor accessibility. The reception will primarily be indoors.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Plan to arrive around 3:00 pm. The ceremony is scheduled to start at 3:30 pm.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes. Parking is in front of Heron Hall, where we will host the reception. It is a short walk from the ceremony space.

Question

I have a physical disability. Is the venue accessible?

Answer

Absolutely! There are accessible bathrooms onsite and there is a golf cart if you require mobility assistance to reach your seat for the ceremony and reception. Please alert us when you RSVP if you will require assistance and how we can best accommodate you.

Question

I have allergies/dietary restrictions. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

If you have specific dietary needs, please alert us when you RSVP. We have an incredible caterer who can accommodate nut allergies, gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan, kosher, etc. We tried to select menu items that already accommodate several dietary needs.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. There will be wine, beer, and liquor options. Please drink responsibly.

Question

Can I take pictures to post on social media?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, so we request all electronic devices (phones, tablets, cameras, etc.) be silenced and stored. Please respect our photographer and the job we hired her to do. You are absolutely welcome to take photos and videos during the reception. There will be a QR code on your table to post to our shared online album. We do ask that you not post anything to your personal social media until we (the bride and groom) have a chance to post first.

Question

Am I allowed to bring children?

Answer

This is a child-friendly celebration! Your young ones are invited to join in the fun. Kids meals and activity bags will be available upon request. However, there will not be any pre-arranged childcare for the ceremony or reception, so please plan accordingly. We also ask that you not use any forms of electronic entertainment during the significant moments of the evening (ceremony, speeches, first dance, etc.).

Question

What time will the reception end?

Answer

The reception will end at 10:00 pm. Last call at the bar will be at 9:30 pm. Please do not drink and drive. If you are too inebriated to drive, you are able to leave your car at the venue overnight until 10:00 am the following day.
