How do I get there?

Answer

Please note Route 16 is the most direct and preferred route to get to the Woods at Bear Creek. Google/apple maps may offer alternate back road routes, please be advised these roads are poorly marked. The trip from Buffalo will take about 1 hour. Please take 400-S to 16-S (you will have to veer to the left after about 22 miles to stay on route 16-S at the Machias Surplus intersection), then turn Right onto Bear Creek Rd and follow the signs to the venue!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

ASAP! Due to limited lodging on the premises we would love to know your plans ahead of time so we can try to be accommodating to as many of our guests as possible. Please submit responses on the "RSVP" tab on this website.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

This is just like your normal wedding, Ladies we would recommend flat shoes or wedges for comfort, the ceremony will be taking place outside and will involve walking on grass/gravel and we also want you to be comfortable while dancing the night away! We also recommend bringing something comfortable to change into for the bonfire after party. If you are staying for the weekend we recommend bringing a bathing suit if you want to cool off in the pool.

How do I book a cabin?

Answer

Rentals are a first come first serve basis, you can start booking as early as you wish. We are requesting that people try to maximize the space and coordinate booking with friends and family members. There are 16 cabins total (capacity is technically 6 per cabin according to the venue, with 2 private bedrooms and a large living room space) and there are also 2 cottages on the premises that sleep up to 12 people each. When booking cabins you can request cabins to be set up with 2 queen sized beds or 1 queen sized bed and 2 sets of bunk beds. The living room space is large and has plenty of room for air mattresses and also has a leather sofa and love seat. Please see the "where to stay" tab for more information!

Is there a refrigerator in the cabin?

Answer

No, there is no refrigerator or kitchen available inside of the cabins to reduce the incidence of unwanted critters and animals. There is a general store on site and also a full service restaurant for dining (breakfast is included for those listed on a cabin rental). We recommend bringing coolers if you are bringing food and beverages.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be on site car and golf-cart parking available. Cars are allowed at the cabins for loading/unloading purposes only and must be parked in the main area.
