As we close 2020 with our wedding and honeymoon, we also start our lives together as one in Massachusetts. The move to Massachusetts all started with me, Isaiah, landing a contract job in my field of Data Engineering at Ocean Spray. It was a six-month contract with the intent to establish experience in the field to ultimately land a similar position in the bay area.
In the meantime, I, Kalie, was working in the bay area but not in my field of study. I was looking for a job in my ideal field in either Data Analytics or Computer Science. With mixed feelings, I was saddened that Isaiah would be moving to Massachusetts for at least 6 months, but excited for him as he started his career.
We both prayed that either Isaiah would find a job in the bay area after six months or that Kalie would find a job in Massachusetts.
