Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Isaac Shrand and Rebecca Deckinger

The Woodlands Waterway

Along the waterway you’ll find a walkable path lined with shops, restaurants, and public art. Guests can rent swan boats, kayaks, or stand-up paddleboards on the water, hop on the Waterway Trolley, and enjoy outdoor dining on patios right along the canal. It’s a great place to explore any time of day! Check out the website below for my information about what all the waterway has to offer.

Market Street

Near by the Woodlands Waterway is Market Street. It is an open-air shopping, dining, and entertainment district with stylish boutiques, popular restaurants, and regular live music and events.

George Mitchell Nature Preserve

You can explore over 1,700 acres of shaded trails perfect for hiking or a peaceful natural retreat just minutes from The Woodlands. It’s a great spot to enjoy fresh air, scenic views, and quiet outdoor time.

Explore Houston!

Houston offers world-class museums like Houston Museum of Natural Science, Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and the Space Center. You can also catch an MLB game - the Astros are at home in Daikin Park playing the Texas Rangers during our wedding weekend. You can also explore award-winning restaurants, shopping districts, and vibrant neighborhoods like the the Heights, Montrose, and Downtown. **Just keep in mind that attractions in Houston are about 45-90 minutes from The Woodlands and Houston does not have great public transportation, so most of these destinations are easiest to reach with a car.
