Explore the grounds of our beautiful venue! This not-for-profit estate was once owned by Samuel L. Morse (the creator of the Morse code), and holds tours, 200 acres of landscaped grounds with five miles of hiking trails, and a visitor welcome center with art galleries and museum shop.
The walkway is the longest elevated pedestrian bridge, and connects Poughkeepsie to Highland. It gives beautiful views of the Hudson Valley.
Explore the village of Wappingers Falls, where Kristi grew up. There are tons of shops and places to eat. Some of our favorites are: Ruinous Revived (Kristi's friend restores awesome furniture), County Fare for lunch, DiVine wine bar for drinks, and the Village Creamery for super cheap, yummy ice cream (they even have an adorable dogwich that is Bailey's fav).
We love to walk around these beautiful grounds. They also offer guided tours.
Another beautiful site to explore.
The Hudson Valley is known for its many hiking trails. Anthony's Nose is probably our favorite!
