Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.

Question

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The cocktail hour will be outside on the terrace, which has a large overhang, and the reception will be indoors in the West Gallery with continued access to the terrace and grounds.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. Locust Grove has a large parking lot which is free. If you are spending the night, it would be best to leave you car at the hotel and we will be providing a shuttle between the hotel(s) and venue.

How will shuttle transportation work?

Answer

We are providing a shuttle from the Homewood Inn & Suites and Hampton Inn & Suites hotels to the venue and back at the end of the night. We will have two pick-up and drop off times.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, only kids in our direct family will be invited. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so everyone can relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list due to venue capacity. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

There will be a space when you RSVP on this website to disclose any food allergies/requests. Please fill this out if it applies, and we will notify our caterer who will make arrangements.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered with Crate & Barrel, Amazon, and Bed, Bath, & Beyond (because Prime 2-day shipping and 20% off coupons!) We have now owned our home over two years, so we have already accrued much of what we need, but added some things we'd still love :)
