Our Ceremony

Think Dressy! Elevated Casual, Garden Attire and Semi-formal are all acceptable. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, confident and celebratory!
We ask that our guests tuck their phones and tablets away for our Screen-Free Ceremony, in order to stay connected and present with us during this momentous occasion. We promise to share our professional photos when they are made available. As the Ceremony will be taking place outdoors, we suggest that guests wear comfortable shoes and pay attention to the weather forecast the week before the event.

We will be serving wine, beer and non alcoholic beverages. Help yourself to a drink and take in the sights and sounds of the Blue Ridge Mountains while you chat with other guests.

Let's eat, drink and be merry! The reception will be taking place inside of a barn with wood chips on the ground, so sandals and less sturdy heels may be tricky to maneuver and dance in. Make sure to bring your dancing shoes! The Reception is the place to snap away! Use hashtag #IreneandAxle to post your favorite photos. We ask that you select your food option well in advance, so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
