For our out-of-town guests, we recommend staying in Stamford on the night of the wedding, as the venue is conveniently located near downtown. Stamford also has a major Metro-North station with direct service into New York City, and Mamaroneck is on the same line, making travel simple and convenient. Greenwich is another easy option, just a 10-minute drive away and on the same train line as Mamaroneck and Stamford. Rye is also a great choice, located about 10 minutes from Mamaroneck and roughly 15 minutes from Stamford. You’re of course welcome to stay in NYC the night before, just keep in mind that you’ll need to bring your luggage to and from the venues by train if you choose that option.

Flight

JFK

If you’re flying into JFK, the most budget-friendly way to get into NYC is to take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station. From there, you can hop on a direct train to Grand Central. It’s an easy ride and takes about 15 minutes. The total cost is around $15. If you’re traveling with lots of luggage or prefer a more comfortable, door-to-door option, yellow taxis are available for a flat rate of $70, and Ubers typically cost $100 or more.

Metro North New Haven Line

For our guests staying in NYC, you can take the Metro North New Haven Line from Grand Central to Mamaroneck [approx. 40 min) or Stamford (approx. 1 hr). From the Mamaroneck Station to the Mamaroneck United Methodist Church is approx. 15 min walk. From the Stamford train station to The Village is approx. 15 min walk
