Can we Uber or Lyft on the Island?

Answer

Kiawah Island does NOT allow Ride Shares onto the island without a resident/hotel guest in the vehicle; therefore, they are unable to pick you up to take you to the airport or any wedding events. We highly recommend renting a car in advance at the airport prior to your arrival!

Will I be Outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the Welcome Party at Mingo Point and the Ceremony at The Sanctuary will be outside. There will also be a cocktail hour portion of the reception that will be outdoors as well. Dinner and dancing will be inside.
