Monterey Airport (MRY)

If you are able to get flights directly into Monterey (MRY), you will not need a car to attend any of the wedding activities! Monterey Regional Airport is by far the closest airport (~10min) from downtown Carmel (or Carmel-by-the-Sea). MRY has a handful of direct flights (from Denver, Dallas, Portland, Seattle, Phoenix, San Diego, etc.) across American Airlines, United Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and Allegiant. Shuttle

Wedding Day Shuttle

November 4, 2021 2:15 pm - 10:45 pm

We have reserved mini-coach busses to transport all guests from downtown Carmel to the ceremony, from the ceremony to the reception, and from the reception back downtown Carmel. There will be 1 shuttle time getting everyone to the church and 2 shuttle times heading back to downtown Carmel to end the night (9:30pm and 10:15pm) You should not need to take a car at all :)

Hotel Carmel offers the best of downtown Carmel with refreshing rooms, an awesome courtyard, hottubs, and Brophy's Pub is connected to the hotel. Parking and breakfast are included, they also host a complimentary wine happy hour daily from 7-8pm. The wedding shuttle will pick up/drop off here. We have contracted a 10 room block, offering rooms at $224/night (Deluxe King or Queen-Queen) or $242/night (King + Fireplace), plus taxes and fees. Please call to check if they have rooms available to you while you're here, we'd like to fill these since we're liable for them. They took our blocked rooms off their availability on the website so you have to call. It's located 4 blocks north of downtown Carmel (Carmel-by-the-Sea) so will be walkable to restaurants, art gallery's, wine tasting, shopping, and THE BEACH! You should not need a car while staying here.

Tradewinds Carmel

The Tradewinds Carmel is like a retreat in and of itself. For those looking for a little more luxury and escape, this is the place for you. It is located kiddy corner from The Hotel Carmel, so you could still enjoy the others company while having a private place to recharge. The wedding shuttle will pick up/drop off here. We have a room block for Wednesday and Thursday, offering rooms at $275/night (plus taxes and fees) for deluxe King and Queen-Queen rooms, though if you plan on staying longer ask to extend this rate for other weekdays. Sorry weekends won't apply. They have ample space before and after the wedding to extend your stay, but act quickly as the rooms do sell out. Deal is only good through August 25. The Fireplace Inn is your most affordable option that's still in the middle of all the action! This Inn is located across the street from The Hotel Carmel so wedding transportation will still be easily accessible. Rooms are ~$150/night, there is no wedding group rate or discount, what you see is what you get It's located 4 blocks north of downtown Carmel (Carmel-by-the-Sea) so will be walkable to restaurants, art gallery's, wine tasting, shopping, and THE BEACH!
