Iliana and Mike met Ivonne at Plaza Mariachi in Nashville during Iliana's 50th Birthday celebration and since then we have become closer friends. We love to spend time together eating in a restaurant or spending time with friends. Iliana and Mike will tell you that Ivonee is one of the kindest most generous people the world has ever known. Ivonne does not know any strangers, once you meet her she will be your friend. Foxy also loves spending time with Ivonne and counts her as one of her four moms.
Colonel Keith Peinhardt
Best Man
Colonel (retired) US Army Kieth Peinhardt. Keith and Mike met over 30 years ago while they were both serving on active duty in the military. For the next 30 years, Keith and Mike served in nearly all the same assignments in the Army with Mike following Keith in each. They grew together both on duty, with their families, and off duty. Today Keith and Mike remain the closest of friends. Mike attributes a great deal of his success in the military and life to his friendship with Keith. Keith is an incredible friend to Mike and Iliana.

Iliana & Mike know Taty for many years and Taty and her husband Will meet us since the biggining of our relationship and since there we always connected with different activities and supporting each other in life. We like to spend holidays and special occasion with her and her husband Will.
Major General Ron Young
Groomsman
Major General (retired) US Army Ron Young. Major General Young and Mike go back over 18 years when they were serving in uniform together. When Mike returned from Iraq Major General Young pulled him into his organization at the Department of Defense where they served together for several years. Mike attributes Major General Young to being one of the most important people in his life. Mike says he has learned more about being a leader, friend, man, and just a good person from Major General Young than almost anyone he knows in his life.

Iliana & Mike met Patty many years ago and we like to do fun things together like shopping, cooking, celebrating birthdays, and spending time with family and friends. Being from Peru Patty is an amazing cook and they love getting to enjoy one of her meals. Patty is an amazing woman, beautiful thoughtful, and kind.

Colonel (retired) US Army Michael Johnson. Mike and Mike met over 17 years ago both while serving in the US Army in Washington, DC. They both lived at Fort Belvoir, VA and carpooled into the city every day for years. They started their day out riding to work, then doing physical training together, working all day together, and then the long ride back to Fort Belvoir. Over the years they formed a special bond as fellow Soldiers and friends.

Iliana & Mike have a wonderful friendship with Olgita and her family. They have known her for many years and she is part of our close friends we appreciate her very much. Our dear Foxy dog loves Olgita so much and when Olgita comes to our home Foxy is very happy and excited to see her. Since we travel a lot Olgita is Foxy's adopted mom and looks out for her often and Foxy love it.

Jeremy Lucas. Jeremy and Mike have known each other since they were kids. Jeremy and Mike's mothers were college roommates and were very close friends. Mike would spend summers in Michigan and a lot of time with Jeremy just enjoying being friends. Over the past few years, Jeremy has been able to travel on business throughout the Southeast and is a welcomed guest with Iliana and Mike. They have grown very close to Jeremy and count his friendship as one of the best things in their lives.

Iliana & Mike met Maria Fernanda and her family in Spring Hill, TN years ago and Maria Fernanda's Mother Ofir met Mike before she passed away in Colombia in 2021 she blessed our lives in some many ways since the beginning and she will be missed at our wedding.

Nick Summer. Nick is the husband of Ivonne, Iliana's Matron of Honor. Iliana and Mike met Nick last year and have quickly grown to love Nick and Ivonne. They are just amazing people that you want to be around all the time. Nick is a wonderful person, kind and caring and so creative.

Catalleja is Alejandro older sister. Iliana & Mike meet Catalleja and her parents, Patricia and Marlon, at the Hispanic grocery store Talpa in Nashville. Since meeting Catalleja and her brother and her parents they have become and special part of our lives.

Alicia is the bride's mother and she lives in Colombia South America but when Iliana first met Mike she was in the USA and she has been supporting them since day one of Iliana and Mike's love. It was actually Alicia who told Iliana to respond to Mike's first text, she said, "Send him a message back right now!" Mike is so glad she did.

Edna is the mother of the groom and has lived in Nashville for over 50 years. Michael is grateful to his mother who showed him how to love unconditionally. She loves her fur babies: Clarence, Maria, Jeremiah, and Lexus. She loves all animals and is passionate about their care. She loves eating out at her favorite restaurants with friends. She has been a dedicated public servant to the people of Nashville for over 47 years. Edna is a recognized and respected icon in the Nashville community.

Iliana and Mike met Pastor James at Joy Church in Mt Juliet, TN at the height of COVID. He has been an amazing counselor and friend to them both over the years. He has helped Iliana and Mike in their walk with their savior Jesus Christ in many ways. He is an amazing father and husband and a true man of God who leads with compassion and conviction. Iliana and Mike are honored that he will be leading them in their wedding ceremony and vows.

Debbie Ballard is a renowned wedding and event planner who was mostly retired from the world of event planning and came back just because she loves Iliana and Mike. Iliana and Mike have known Debbie for several years and believe she is one of the most remarkable women they know. They are honored to have Debbie in their lives and planning this most special day.
