Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden
A beautiful park that we love and was featured in our engagement photos!
Mount Tabor Park
A huge park within city limits that covers a dormant volcano. The park is very close to the L'Arche home that Ilana lived in, and provided beautiful scenery for many walks during Spencer's visits to Portland.
Pine Street Market
A great food option downtown- especially during happy hour. The space is kind of like a trendy food court featuring local restaurants with many options.
Vista House (The)
If you have a car, this is a beautiful first stop on a trip out to the Columbia River Gorge for stunning views. It was the first stop for us on our first date!
Latourell Falls
Another stop on our first date- there are multiple options for easy/moderate trails that lead to you many stunning waterfalls.
Pips & Bounce
A ping pong bar! Super fun.

Salt & Straw
A super popular ice cream place that has unique flavors- samples are abundant! this particular location is in the Alberta Art's District, which is a fun area with many restaurants, shops, bars, etc.
McMenamins Kennedy School
McMenamins is a northwest staple- they rennovate old historical buildings into pubs. This particular location is a renovated elementary school with a second-run movie theater, a beautiful soaking pool, and multiple bars. It's a fun place to spend a few hours!

A brewery that donates 100% of their profits!
Little River Cafe
A sweet cafe with a huge menu, alcohol options, and ice cream right on the waterfront in SW. It's really fun to spend an afternoon in that area.
The Secret Society
A speakeasy-style bar that has a restaurant and a separate room for live music and dancing, often swing or salsa.
Portland Free Walking Tour
An awesome 2-hour walking tour throughout downtown Portland. Tours happen daily and donations are accepted at the end.
Forest Park
Forest park is a HUGE park with over 5,000 acres of trails within city limits! There are a ton of options for length, duration, and difficulty.
Food Trucks
There are food truck pods all over, and they're kind of a Portland staple. It's a great way to have a lot of food options and eat outside!
