🚗 1st choice – rent a car in advance from the Traverse City Airport rental car area, a 30-minute drive to the town of Elk Rapids. 🚕 2nd choice – pre-schedule taxis and shuttles in advance. Lyft and Ubers are very limited. 🚌 3rd choice – share rides with other guests. White Birch Lodge is 1 mile from a grocery store and downtown Elk Rapids. Once you're at WBL, there will be plenty of guests available to share rides.

However, we’d recommend choosing another Elk Rapids accommodation so you can be close by and still come enjoy WBL! All are welcome to spend the day at WBL even if you are staying elsewhere. Please feel free to reach out to Ilana or Greg with any questions. Our wedding ceremony and reception are taking place at the historic White Birch Lodge in Elk Rapids, Michigan. We are hoping to have as many of our guests stay on-site with us as possible. WBL accommodates around 100 guests in a variety of lodging options including condos, cabins, townhomes and individual rooms in the lodge. The resort will be open exclusively to our wedding guests for the entire weekend. Guests will have access to a beautiful private beach, kayaks, paddle boards, and plenty of games. If you plan to stay at a different accommodation, you are more than welcome to come spend the day at the resort Friday-Sunday. There are public bathrooms throughout the lodge. You are more than welcome to come earlier in the week and/or stay later. We will be there 5/31-6/5. Ubers and Lyfts are not readily available in this area.
